IIT Madras DSA offers great courses in banking and finance
IIT Madras DSA (Digital Skills Academy) launched courses related to banking, financial services and insurance sector.
The courses launched by IIT Madras DSA are open to all students and working professionals in India who are interested in taking up a career in the BFSI (Banking, Finance, Insurance) sector.
IIT Madras DSA is offering certified programmes are being offered in the areas of banking and finance, digital banking, mutual funds, Securities operations and risk management and Equity derivatives.
IIT Madras DSA offers great courses in banking and finance
It is interesting to recollect that IIT Madras DSA is a joint venture of IIT Madras and NASSCOM IT-IT Enabled Services Sector Skill Council of India.
IIT Madras DSA is chaired by two eminent personalities namely Lakshmi Narayanan, Founder-CEO of Cognizant Technology Solutions and Professor M.S. Ananth, former Director of IIT Madras and one of the founders of online digital education in India.
IIT Madras DSA is governed by an Advisory Council with members from NASSCOM, industry and Academia. The Director of IIT Madras is the Chief Patron.
Upon completion of the course being offered by IIT Madras DSA, a formal certificate will be issued by the trainer and the knowledge partner, Centre for Continuing Education, IIT Madras.
Currently, IIT Madras DSA is offering four courses related to banking, finance and insurance sectors.
They are ‘Programme in Digital Banking’ ‘Programme in Know your Bank and Finance’ ‘Programme in Securities Operations and Risk Management’ and ‘Programme in Mutual Fund’
Candidates who wish to avail these courses offered by IIT Madras DSA must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognised university.

Applicants after studying about the course and further scroll down and click the button ‘Enroll’ and choose the course they want to join, provide their name, mobile number, email id and other required information and then enroll for the course.
The fee for courses offered by IIT Madras DSA is different for each programme.
Programme In Digital Banking is 12 weeks course the fee is Rs 3540.
Another course offered by IIT Madras DSA is Programme In Know Your Bank And Finance which is also of 12 weeks duration and the fee for it is Rs 3540.
Programme In Securities Operations And Risk Management which is also offered by IIT Madras DSA is of 12 weeks duration and it costs Rs 1180.
Programme In Mutual Fund is a course of 12 weeks duration and fee for it is Rs 2360.
Head of IIT Madras DSA Professor Mangala Sundar said objective of these courses is to provide graduating students from Indian academic institutions and employees in multiple industrial sectors, the necessary skills towards employment or re-skilling in the relevant sectors and make them industry and job-ready.
In addition, the trainers will cover multiple areas through large problem sets, that will also help the students to do competitive examinations in the banking and finance sector well and with confidence, she said.
