The Indian Institute of Management, IIM-Raipur has announced the fourth batch of Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Digital Health PGCPDH and Diploma Programme in Digital Health DPDH. The announcement is through a partnership of the Indian Institute of Management Raipur with the Academy of Digital Health Sciences.

A press release by IIM Raipur states that the certificate programs expose the students to the curriculum coverage of medical and technological areas, including telemedicine, data analytics, digital health policies, and entrepreneurship, from which the classes will be taken online. Assessments will be based on quizzes at the end of each chapter and a four-week module dissertation or internship.

Curriculum

Curriculum It would be structured into three levels: Basic Level: Theoretical aspects of digital health, Advanced Level: Technological & management aspects of digital health and Professional Level: Application aspects of digital health with use cases. Students of the PG Certificate Programme in Digital Health (PGCPDH) and DPDH programs would get to experience an in-person immersion program for three days at IIM Raipur for more practical learning and networking.

Eligibility criteria

Eligible candidates can go through the eligibility criteria below.

DPDH Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates having a degree in graduation or its equivalent
• Applicants should not be below 25 years of age as of 01 February 2024
• Candidates having professional degrees are exempted from fulfilling the minimum age requirement above.

To seek entry into the PGCPDH, one should possess a graduation degree or its equivalent and experience of at least two years in various healthcare domains. Professionals qualifying for this course include doctors, healthcare workers, managers of health services, paramedics, healthcare IT and med-tech professionals, those of the pharmaceutical sector, clinical informatics professionals, hospital administrators, academicians, researchers, healthcare consultants, policymakers, public sector leaders, and heads of the community and primary health centers.
