The teaching positions are for subjects namely Agribusiness management, Business Environment (Economics), Business Sustainability, Communication, Decision Sciences, Finance and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Information Technology and Systems, Legal Management, Marketing, Operations Management and Strategic Management.

Candidates should have a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in the related field. Faculty members are expected to carry out research, design and teach courses, engage in institution development and conduct training programs and consultancy.

Applicant for the position of Associate Professor must have a minimum of six years teaching/ research/ professional experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor Grade I or equivalent as on the date of application. The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences, course development and or other recognized relevant professional activities.

Candidates planning to apply for Assistant Professor (Grade I) should be having A minimum of three years teaching/ research/ professional experience as on the date of application, excluding the experience gained while pursuing PhD.

Candidate should have demonstrated research capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences. Eligible candidates with less than the requisite experience may be taken as Assistant Professor Grade II in the Academic Level 10 or 11 with appropriate pay based on post PhD experience.

With regards to the post of Assistant Professor Grade II, candidate not eligible for Assistant Professor Grade I may be appointed as Assistant Professor Grade II. At the entry level he or she may be placed in Academic Level 10 and shall move after 1 year to Academic Level 11.

After 3 years in Academic Level 10 & 11 together, s/he may be brought on regular position as Assistant Professor Grade I in Academic Level 12. On satisfactory completion of 3 years service as Assistant Professor Grade I with Academic Level 12, s/he shall move to Academic Level 13A1.

The pay for Professor would be Rs.1,59,100 – Rs.2,20,200 (Academic Level 14A), the direct reruits will get minimum pay in the pay matrix that will be fixed at Rs 1,59,100 p.m. The pay for Associate Professor is Rs.1,39,600 – Rs.2,11,300 (Academic Level 13A2). For direct recruits, minimum pay in the Pay Matrix will be fixed at Rs.1,39,600 p.m. Pay for Assistant Professor Grade I is Rs.1,01,500 – Rs.1,67,400 (Academic Level 12).

Pay scale for Assistant Professor Grade II is Rs.57,700 – Rs.98,200 (Academic Level 10). For Fresh recruits, minimum pay in the Pay Matrix to be fixed at Rs.84,700 p.m.

IIM L invites applications for faculty positions – Academic Level 11 applicants for post of Assistant Professor Grade II will get a pay package of Rs 68,900 – Rs. 1,17,200, persons applying for the same post and with one year post PhD experience will get a salary of Rs 89,900 p.m. applicants with two years post PhD experience will get Rs 92,600/­p.m.

Those who are yet to apply can submit their applications for the admission process. The last date earlier was 31 March 2024 for submitting CUCET 2025 application, now that has been extended to 15 April 2025.

What is CUCET 2025?

The full name of the test is Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test and is conducted by Chandigarh University in online mode.

Questions in the test depends on the subject in which the applicant desires to study in the institution.

Students who have passed CUCET 2025 with good scores can move to the next phase of the admission process which may involve interviews or counselling and document verification.

Students seeking admission in graduate courses or postgraduate programs can take up CUCET 2025 Application.

Those aiming for undergraduate programs have to pass plus-two with 50% pass marks in the exam.

Candidates who have passed graduation in the relevant discipline with 50% pass marks at the minimum can apply for postgraduate courses.

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and then submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Post-download of the website, candidates have to enter their name, course of their choice, date of birth, and email id and register to create an account with username and password.

3. After the above details are entered, applicants can seek OTP, once the OTP is received, candidates can enter it and complete the registration.

4. After registration, candidates can login and start filling CUCET 2025 Application.

5. The form has to be filled and registration fee has to be paid and submitted.

Offline

Candidates can check with the institution about the possibility of submitting CUCET 2025 Application offline.

If the possibility exists, they can visit the institution or its authorized centers in person to obtain CUCET 2025 Application.

The applications can be filled and sent to the institution through post or courier or delivered in person. There is more to it than meets the eye.

The students have to wait for the communication about the written test.

Passing the exam with required cutoff marks gets the eligibility to take part in the next phase of admission.

The phase after the test comprises counselling, interview, document verification.

Selection will be based on performance in the qualifying exam, performance in the written test, availability of seats, candidate’s choice of the course.

Admission process may vary for each course, admission into few courses may require the students to take part in counselling after the written test.

For, certain other academic programs, applicants may require to take part in group discussion, interview after passing the written test.
