CBSE exams 2021 have become the talk of the town as Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank recently ventured ahead to clear the doubts.
He said this during a webinar where students and parents could clear their doubts regarding CBSE exams 2021 and NEET and JEE Mains 2021.
The meeting to clear doubts regarding CBSE exams 2021 was to take place earlier, but was postponed to December 10.
Parents and students had been addressing their concerns on social media platforms regarding CBSE 2021 exams and practical tests associated with 10th and 12th classes.
Union Education Minister said the syllabus for class 10 and 12 has been reduced by 30 percent.
The reduction of syllabus is said to be a welcome move as this would reduce the stress of the students when they sit for CBSE exams 2021 for 10th and 12th standards.
The reduced syllabus could be completed in a shorter duration and students can get ready for CBSE exams 2021 quickly.
Many students have welcomed the move to reduce the syllabus, the move will also help faculty in completing the lessons in a shorter duration.
The reduced syllabus is already available at the official website of CBSE. Speaking about further reduction of syllabus, he said it would depend on pandemic situation.
Speaking about CBSE exams 2021 said there were no questions of cancelling the board exams for 10th and 12th standards next year.
There was nothing to worry about board exams next year, said Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
The students could get more time in case, the situation of COVID 19 did not witness improvement.
It is interesting to note that earlier sources from CBSE pointed out that students also could get more gaps between one exam and the other.
This is also expected to give students more time for preparation. CBSE exam 2021 had become a puzzle for many students and their parents.
This year did not go smoothly as far as education is concerned. The entire activity on the academic arena of this country came to a halt.
Many even wondered whether this will have any impact on the academic activity in 2021.
Will classes, exams next year be held as per the schedule planned? Is one of the biggest question encountering the students and their parents.
It is not only theory exams, but also practicals are causing enough worry for students.
How will practicals be conducted next year? What is the alternative if practicals are conducted? Are the questions concerning the practicals that are worrying many students.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said practical exams will be conducted in school labs as usual.
Practical exams will take place in the school labs once they reopen. If schools are not able to conduct practical exams, alternative arrangements will be made, he said.
If students are not able to go to schools for practicals, a seperate decision will be made in that regard, he said.
The students are not only worried about CBSE exams 2021, but also competitive exams of NEET and JEE Mains are also their concern.
It is only natural for students to be worried about NEET and JEE Mains 2021 as much as they are about CBSE exams 2021.
When NEET and JEE Mains are gateways for rich career prospects in life, students are naturally more concerned about these competitive tests.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said NEET and JEE Mains would also be conducted. However they were considering the idea of conducting these two well-known exams online.
The students and their parents were told not to worry about CBSE exams 2021 and their date sheets.
Various media reports did rounds recently that students must begin their preparation as CBSE exams 2021 would be held in March.
A date sheet also was released which was suggesting that CBSE 12th exams for 2021 would begin by March 15.
The PIBFactCheck team proved that the datesheet was fake and no datesheet was released by CBSE.
Sources from CBSE on 10 December clarified that the dates for the CBSE exams 2021 would be released at the appropriate time on their official website.
The dates for the CBSE exams 2021 will be brought out after due consultation with all the stakeholders, said sources from CBSE.
Public should not fall prey to false news but should go to the official website for any information regarding CBSE exams 2021.
