CBSE 12th result 2020: Great exam sees an excellent pass percentage of 88.78
CBSE 12th result 2020 has been made public and a pass percentage of 88.78 has been registered this year. This is nothing short of happy news as it is an increase of 5.38 percent from that of last year.
As many as 11,92,961 students had appeared in CBSE class 12 examination, out of which 10,59,080 passed.
The performance of girls was better than boys by 5.96 percent. CBSE 12th result 2020 further brought out that the transgender students recorded a pass percentage of 66.67.
Union Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank made an announcement on 13 July at 12.33 pm about CBSE 12th result 2020 on twitter.
‘Dear Students, parents and teachers, @cbseindia29 has announced the results of class XII and can be accessed at cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate student’s health and quality education are our priority,’ was the message.
It is worth recollecting that declaring CBSE 12th result 2020 was a challenging affair as the process of conducting the exam itself came to a grinding halt on two occasions.
The first time 12th exams came to halt due to violent protests with regards to CAA. The exams had to be stopped for the secondtime due to corona virus outbreak this year.

Once the link is clicked, candidates have to enter their school code and roll number and press the submit button to obtain CBSE 12th result 2020.
This year there has been a delay till July for declaring CBSE 12th result 2020, the same was declared on 2 May last year and pass percentage in the previous year stood at 83.40.
There is more to it than meets the eye as far as CBSE 12th result 2020 is concerned. About 38,686 students have scored above 95 percent. About 1,57,934 students have registered a score more than 90 percent.
CBSE 12th result 2020 further says that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas have registered a pass percentage of 98.70 and 98.62.
