AICTE PG Scholarship application is open and students can apply till 28 February.

Students of post graduation in engineering, technology, architecture and pharmacy can avail the AICTE PG Scholarship.

AICTE PG Scholarship: Apply till great 28 February

Students selected for AICTE PG Scholarship will get about Rs 12,400 per month.

Eligibility
Candidates willing to apply for the scholarship must be enrolled into first year post graduate programmes in engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture that are recognised by AICTE.

Candidates must have also passed GATE or GPAT before enrolling into first year PG programmes.

Individuals who pass GATE or GPAT after their admission into PG programmes are not eligible to apply for AICTE PG Scholarship.

Students who are receiving any other scholarship also will not be eligible to apply for AICTE PG Scholarship.

AICTE PG Scholarship is tenable for the duration of 24 months or for the duration of the course, i.e. from the date of commencement of classes till the date of completion of the classes whichever is lower and is not extendable under any circumstances.

Point to remember
Students availing this AICTE PG Scholarship are entitled to 15 days casual leave in academic year.

Medical will be provided for one month (30 days) in an academic year.

Also candidates will be eligibile for paternity, maternity leave as per then existing Government of India norms.

Important dates
The last date for generation of student ID by institutions and submission of online applications for AICTE PG Scholaship scheme is extended till 28 February.

The last date for verification of applications submitted by students for AICTE PG Scholarhip scheme
is 15 March this year.

The last date for verification of re-submitted defective applications for AICTE PG Scholarship is also 15 March.

Procedure to apply
The institutions where students are studying their post graduation courses must first update the details of students who are eligible for AICTE PG Scholarship on the portal of AICTE.

Post update of student details eligile for AICTE PG Scholarship, system would generate unique ID.

Students who have valid GATE or GPAT score must collect the unique ID before venturing ahead to apply for AICTE PG Scholarhip scheme.

Candidates after collecting the unique ID can visit the official website at ‘https://www.aicte-india.org/schemes/students-development-schemes/PG-Scholarship-Scheme’

After the page downloads, candidates have to scroll it down to find a button ‘Apply for PG Scholarship (GATE/GPAT).’

Post clicking the button, candidates have to scroll down and look for another button titled ‘Click here to proceed to GATE/GPAT Scholarship Student ID Verification Tab’ written in white colour on blue background.

Post clicking that button, applicants have enter the details like name of state where the institution is located, permanent Id of the institute, student Id and their date of birth.

After providing these details, students have to submit them for validation.

Post validation, they can start applying for AICTE PG Scholarship scheme.

AICTE PG Scholarship

Applicants have to ensure their bank accounts are Aadhar active. After ensuring, applicants have to upload scanned image of first page of the bank passbook.

Also the bank account must be solely owned by the student (applicant) and should not be a joint account, also there should not be any limits imposed on amounts of money credited into the account.

Applicants must also upload scanned image of their category certificate – SC/ST/OBC and Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate – if applicable along with the application for AICTE PG Scholarship.

Point to remember
Applicants have to ensure their bank accounts are connected with Aadhar as the payment of scholarship amount would be made through Aadhar Bridge Payment System (ABPS).

Also, institutes where students (applicants) are studying must ensure all correct details are provided in the application for AICTE PG Scholarship scheme.

Candidates must ensure that all documents to be submitted along with the application for AICTE PG Scholarship scheme are clear with regards to visibility of all details.

The category certificate must be in English or Hindi.

In case if category certificate is in a language other than above mentioned ones, applicants for AICTE PG Scholarship have to translate the document in English or Hindi on the institutional letter head and get it verified by notary officer or principal of the institute.

Post translation and verification, candidates have to upload both original and translated document along with the application for AICTE PG Scholarship.

All other attachments expect the category certificate must be attested by the applicant.

Category certificate has to be attested by the principal of the institute or by a gazetted officer.

8. After obtaining the credentials, candidates can login using OTR ID and password and then view the list of exams and choose UPSC NDA and NA 2 Exam 2025 and apply for it.

9. The application form has to be filled and registration fee has to be paid and then form has to be submitted.
