The School of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSR) was established in 2009 as part of Sharda University, with a vision to create an environment of excellence in education, research, and development. SMSR has approval from the Medical Council of India to admit 250 students annually in its MBBS course, under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
