About School of Petroleum Management - [SPM], Gandhi Nagar
School of Petroleum Management has been one of the top-notch colleges in its sector. The Management School was first rooted as the Institute of Petroleum Management, Gandhinagar (IPMG) in 2006 as an aegis of Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI), which was established as a trust and a society by GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation), a Government of Gujarat Undertaking. In the following year of 2007, GERMI established Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), and IPMG became a constituent of PDPU; the name of the college was changed to School of Petroleum Management (SPM). The college dwells with a vision of being an internationally renowned national figure and serving as the torchbearer in quality management education. SPM strives to provide the most and diversified form of Energy Engineering and make intellectuals who can fulfil their social obligations by making energy-efficient and environmentally viable machines. The institute has its prime objective of acting as the hub of research in the field of energy efficiency for the national and international practitioners. In this respect, many internationally acclaimed universities have signed treaties of intellectual agreement with the School of Petroleum Management and serve as assets in its cause of rising as an energy management superpower.
