About Sankalchand Patel University Gujarat Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) is a private university in Visnagar, district of Mehsana, Gujarat, India. The Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal established the university in 2016 through the 2016 Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment ) Act. The university has a Nootan College of Medicine and Research Centre. It also has eight Faculties: Engineering and Technology (BTech, MTech and PhD), Management Studies (BBA, MBA, Integrated MBA and PhD), Computer Sciences (BCA, MCA, PGDCA and PhD), Science (BSc, MSc and PhD), Commerce (BCom, MCom and PhD), Dental Sciences (BDS, MDS and PhD), Physiotherapy (BPT), Nursing (ANM, GNM, BSc and MSc).
