About R.V. College of Engineering Bangalore R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE), Bangalore was established in 1963. RVCE is one of the earliest self-financing engineering colleges in the country, run by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), a not for profit trust. It is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The college offers 12 Undergraduate Engineering programmes, 21 Master Degree programmes and Doctoral Studies. Admissions to undergraduate programs will be based on the marks acquired in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and admissions to postgraduate courses will be on the basis GATE or PGCET exam.
