Banaras Hindu University (BHU), established in 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, is one of Asia's largest residential universities and one of the most prestigious educational institutions in India. Located on a massive 1,300-acre main campus along the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, BHU offers over 340 programs across 14 faculties, 140 departments, and 4 interdisciplinary centres.
