For the 2026 intake the fee sheet prints a first-year fee of Rs 1,59,500 for B.Tech CSE (Rs 1,54,500 for Uttarakhand domicile), Rs 1,69,500 for the B.Tech (Hons.) CSE specialisations, Rs 1,20,500 for mechanical, civil and electrical engineering and Rs 1,40,500 for ECE (Hons.), for candidates from outside Uttarakhand. Hostel, uniform and transport are extra.

For the 2026 intake the first-year fee for candidates from outside Uttarakhand is Rs 1,01,500 for BBA, Rs 1,02,000 for BCA and MCA, Rs 2,35,500 for MBA (Rs 1,65,000 for Uttarakhand domicile), Rs 1,39,500 for B.Pharma, Rs 88,000 for BHM, Rs 78,500 for BA LLB and BBA LLB and Rs 93,500 for M.Tech. The sheet does not itemise what the semester amounts cover.

Q-CARE is Quantum University's own online entrance-cum-scholarship exam: 60 minutes, multiple choice, proctored by software, with 50 questions in a PCM, PCB or non-science section. The 2027 dates are not published (checked 16 October 2026). In 2026 the exam window opened on 15 January 2026 and results came within 30 days of the exam.

The 2026 fee sheet lists Rs 48,000 a semester for a non-AC room and Rs 59,000 for an AC room, which is Rs 96,000 or Rs 1,18,000 a year, plus a one-time Rs 5,000 registration fee. Laundry is included (up to 40 clothes a month). The sheet does not say whether meals are included. Boys and girls have separate hostels on campus.

The NIRF 2026 data sheet reports 1,026 of 1,218 graduates placed (84.2%) for the batch graduating in 2024-25, with median salaries of Rs 3,50,000 for three-year undergraduate, Rs 4,50,000 for four-year undergraduate, Rs 3,90,000 for five-year undergraduate and Rs 4,50,000 for two-year postgraduate programmes. The placements page shows a 45 LPA highest package without a batch year, so it is not used.

Scholarships apply to the first year only and only the highest one counts. For B.Tech, a JEE Main rank up to 50,000 earns 100% of first-year tuition, falling to 40% for ranks 3,50,001 to 4,50,000; Q-CARE marks earn Rs 10,000 to Rs 30,000; 90% in Class 12 PCM or a CUET UG percentile of 90% earns 100% of first-year tuition. The scholarship page prints no session.

No NAAC grade is published: the university filed its first-cycle IIQA on 5 January 2024 and shows no grade on its IQAC pages (checked 16 October 2026). It posted data for NIRF 2026 but lists no NIRF rank.

Yes. It is a state private university set up by an Act of the Uttarakhand State Legislature and listed by the UGC under Section 2(f). The campus is at Mandawar, 22 km milestone on the Roorkee-Dehradun Highway (NH-73), Roorkee, Haridwar district, Uttarakhand.

Admission to Quantum University runs through Q-CARE, its online entrance-cum-scholarship exam: apply online (Rs 1,200 registration fee), book a slot and take the 60-minute proctored test, then confirm the Provisional Letter of Admission by paying the first instalment within 15 days.
