The 2026-27 fee brochure lists Rs 70,250 a semester (Rs 1,40,500 a year) for B.Tech. CSE and CSE (AI), and Rs 85,250 a semester (Rs 1,70,500 a year) for the cloud computing and machine learning, AI and blockchain (both with IBM) and generative AI (HCL GUVI) programmes. M.Tech. CSE (AI) is Rs 62,750 a semester. Hostel, bus and other charges are extra.

For 2026-27 the first-year tuition is Rs 90,500 for the BBA, BCA, B.Com. (Hons.) and BHMCT, Rs 1,40,500 for the MBA and B.Arch., Rs 1,44,500 for B.Pharm., Rs 1,10,500 for BA LLB and BBA LLB, Rs 80,500 for the LLB and Rs 2,98,500 for BDS plus Rs 50,000 refundable security. The allied health degrees are priced as four-year totals including a 24-month internship: Rs 7,65,000 for B.PT and BMRIT and Rs 6,95,000 for B.AOTT, MLT and B.Optom.

BBDU lists no entrance test of its own; admission is on Class 12 or graduation marks. B.Arch. needs a valid NATA score, BDS uses NEET counselling and MDS needs NEET-MDS. CLAT is preferable but not essential for BA LLB and BBA LLB. JEE Main is not an admission route; the brochure uses a JEE rank only for an engineering scholarship (general rank up to 2,500 gets 100% tuition).

The 2026-27 brochure lists annual hostel charges. Non-AC rooms: Rs 1,25,000 single, Rs 95,000 double, Rs 80,000 triple. AC rooms: Rs 1,90,000 single, Rs 1,30,000 double, Rs 1,05,000 triple. A refundable security of Rs 5,000 applies, and bus service costs Rs 33,000 a year.

BBDU's placement page shows a highest package of Rs 19.58 lakh in 2025, 1,325 students placed and 308 companies; for 2026 it shows Rs 12.25 lakh and 1,270 placed so far. The NIRF 2025 data sheet records 1,246 of 2,333 graduates of 2023-24 as placed. The home page also quotes a 48 LPA highest package, which the year-wise table does not show.

Yes. For the first year of undergraduate courses (except BDS) the 2026-27 brochure gives tuition scholarships on Class 12 marks: 100% at 95%, 50% at 90%, 25% at 85% and 10% at 80%. Engineering has rank-based scholarships (100% up to general rank 2,500, 50% up to 5,000, 25% up to 10,000), and BBDU graduates joining a PG course get 15% off MBA tuition and 20% off other PG tuition.

BBDU is a state private university established by the Uttar Pradesh legislature (BBD University Act, 2010) and included under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. The campus is at BBD City, Ayodhya Road, Lucknow 226028.
