About Jagannath University
Jagannath University, whose legal name is Jagan Nath University, Jaipur, is a private university on NH-12, Chaksu Bypass, Tonk Road, Jaipur, with a second campus at Sitapura. The Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society, a non-profit society established in 1993, promoted it, and Rajasthan Act No. 19 of 2008 created it. It is approved under sections 2(f) and 12-B of the UGC Act, 1956, and NAAC accredited it in 2022 with grade A in the second cycle, valid until June 2027. The B.Sc. (Hons.) - B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture: JET or ICAR, with 50% in 10+2 science.
- Postgraduate programmes: CUET (PG), GATE for M.Tech, or JUEE with an interview; MBA is through CUET (PG) followed by group discussion.
- BPT also accepts NEET; Ph.D. uses an entrance test and interview.
