The 2026-27 first-year academic fees per annum include: B.A., B.B.A. and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons) at SLS Pune: Rs 5,06,000. BBA at SCMS Pune: Rs 4,10,000. BBA (IT) at SICSR: Rs 2,50,000. BCA at SICSR: Rs 2,45,000. B.A. Mass Communication at SCMC: Rs 3,46,000. B.Sc. Economics at SSE: Rs 2,90,000. Liberal Arts at SSLA: Rs 5,10,000. B.Tech. at SIT Pune: Rs 3,00,000 to Rs 4,00,000. B.Des. at SID: Rs 5,00,000. Allied health degrees at SIHS: Rs 1,74,000. Fees can rise by 10-12% over the programme. A refundable deposit (usually Rs 20,000) and hostel are extra. For 2026-27, the yearly charges by campus are: Viman Nagar: rooms from Rs 1,61,600 (three-sharing) to Rs 3,33,600 (single), plus Rs 1,19,600 for the mess. Lavale Hill Base: Rs 1,24,100 (four-sharing) to Rs 2,95,600 (single). S.B. Road: Rs 1,35,500 (three-sharing) to Rs 2,82,300 (single). Each campus has a Rs 1,19,600 mess fee and a Rs 20,000 refundable deposit. Hostel and mess fees can rise by up to 15% a year.

Each programme group uses its own test: SET: BBA, BCA, BBA (IT), mass communication, economics, liberal arts, statistics, sports science, AI and the hospitality BBA. SET counts for 70 marks and a personal interaction for 30. SITEEE, JEE Main or a state engineering CET: B.Tech. at SIT Pune. SLAT: the five-year law programmes at SLS Pune. SNAP: the MBA programmes. SEED: B.Des. at SID. NEET UG: MBBS and BPT. SIHS, SCON, SSVAP and the culinary B.Sc. run their own selection.

SNAP 2026 will be held on 13, 19 and 26 December 2026 as a computer-based test. Registration closes on 25 November 2026, and results come on 12 January 2027. The score is valid for MBA admission in 2027-28. Candidates can take up to three attempts, and the best score counts. Institutes then hold a group exercise and personal interaction. Graduates with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) can apply. The fee is Rs 2,550 per attempt plus Rs 1,000 per programme, plus taxes.

SLAT 2027, for the five-year B.A., B.B.A. and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons) at Symbiosis Law School, will be held on 19 and 26 December 2026. Registration closes on 4 December 2026, and results come on 12 January 2027. The best of two attempts counts. The fee is Rs 2,550 per test plus Rs 1,000 per programme, plus taxes.

Symbiosis had not announced SET 2027 on 13 October 2026. In the 2026 cycle, registration closed on 15 April 2026, the tests were held on 2 and 10 May 2026, and results came on 20 May 2026. The fee was Rs 2,250 per test plus Rs 1,000 per programme. SITEEE for B.Tech. ran on the same days.

NAAC has re-accredited Symbiosis International (Deemed University) with an A++ grade (CGPA 3.56), and the UGC has given it Category I status. In NIRF 2025 it is ranked 24th among universities, 40th overall and 46th in engineering. Two of its institutes rank separately: SIBM Pune is 11th in management and Symbiosis Law School, Pune is 7th in law.

Symbiosis International is a private deemed-to-be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The Ministry of Human Resource Development conferred deemed university status in 2002. It has 46 constituent institutes, with campuses in Pune, Nashik, Bengaluru, Noida, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Dubai.
