Top Class Education Scheme (SC)

The Top Class Education Scheme is a Central Government initiative aimed at supporting meritorious students from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities to pursue higher education in premier institutions. The scheme focuses on enabling access to quality education by covering major academic expenses, including tuition fees and living costs.

Implemented through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), the scheme provides comprehensive financial assistance to selected students enrolled in top institutions across India. It ensures that financial constraints do not hinder access to professional and technical education, with benefits directly transferred through DBT.
