West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) of Department of Health and Family Welfare of Government of West Bengal has brought out a notification with regards to the schedule.

WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling registration will start by 11 AM on 25 July 2023 and end by 4 PM 28 July 2023 for the first round. There will be four rounds of counselling and each has its own schedule.

1st Round

The registration for this round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling will take place from 25 to 28 July 2023. The fee payment in connection with the counselling can be paid till 12 PM of 28 July 2023.

The verification of candidates in already designated colleges will take place on 27,28 and 31 July 2023. NRI candidates can take part in verification at Swasthya Bhaban.

Publication of the list of successfully verified candidates and publication of seat matrix for the first round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling will take place after 12 PM on 1 August 2023.

Candidates who underwent verification can take up choice filling and choice locking from 4 PM on 1 August to midnight of 2 August 2023. Candidates who got a seat can report for admission on 7,8,9 August 2023.

2nd Round

The registration for this round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling will take place from 14 to 15 August 2023. The fee payment in connection with the counselling can be paid till 12 PM of 15 August 2023.

The verification of candidates in already designated colleges will take place on 16,17 August 2023. NRI candidates can take part in verification at Swasthya Bhaban.

Publication of the list of successfully verified candidates and publication of seat matrix for the second round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling will take place after 12 PM on 21 August 2023.

Candidates who underwent verification can take up choice filling and choice locking from 4 PM on 21 August to midnight of 22 August 2023. The publication of result will be done on 25 August 2023 after 4 PM.

Candidates who got a seat in this round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling can report for admission on 28,29,31 August and 1 September 2023.

The verification of candidates in already designated colleges will take place on 7,8 September 2023. NRI candidates can take part in verification at Swasthya Bhaban.

Publication of the list of successfully verified candidates and publication of seat matrix for the third round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling will take place after 12 PM on 9 September 2023.

Candidates who underwent verification can take up choice filling and choice locking from 4 PM on 9 September to midnight of 10 September 2023. The publication of result will be done on 13 September 2023 after 4 PM.

Candidates who got a seat in this round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling can report for admission on 14,15,16 September 2023.

4th Round/Stray Round

The registration for this round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling will take place from 10 AM to 4 PM on 18 September 2023. The fee payment in connection with the counselling can be paid till 12 PM of 18 September 2023.

The verification of candidates in already designated colleges will take place from 10 AM to 4 PM on 19 September 2023. NRI candidates can take part in verification at Swasthya Bhaban.

Publication of the list of successfully verified candidates and publication of seat matrix for the fourth round or stray round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling will take place after 4 PM on 20 September 2023.

Candidates who underwent verification can take up choice filling and choice locking from 11 PM on 21 September to midnight of 12 September 2023. The publication of result will be done on 25 September 2023 after 4 PM.

Candidates who got a seat in this round of WB NEET UG 2023 Counselling can report for admission on 26,27 September 2023.

Point to remember

Publication of candidates non allotted with regard to physical college level stray vacancy round will take place after 4 PM on 28 September 2023. Publication of vacancy will also take place after 4 PM on 28 September.

Conducting of allotment cum admission at respective college will take place from 12 PM to 6 PM on 30 September 2023.

The last date for VITEEE 2025 registration was 31 March 2025 earlier, now it has been extended to 7 April 2025.

VITEEE 2025 Registration Fees

VITEEE 2025 registration fee is Rs 1350, they must pay this while applying for the exam. The application form can be submitted after paying the VITEEE 2025 registration fee.

Admit card

Candidates who have completed their VITEEE 2025 registration alone can download the admit card for appearing for the exam. The process to download the admit card is mentioned below for the sake of the students:

After VITEEE 2025 registration

Students have to appear for the exam and pass it with required qualifying marks to be eligible for participating in the counselling process.

VITEEE for B.E/B.Tech programs will have a total of 125 questions constituting 125 marks. The no. of questions is given as Mathematics/Biology-40 questions, Physics-35 questions, Chemistry-35 questions, Aptitude-10 questions and English-5 questions.

Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct VITEEE 2025 exam for 2 hours and 30 minutes duration.

All the questions shall be multiple choice type; each correct answer shall have one mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect ones. 

Candidates who are wishing to take up science oriented courses have to attempt questions related to maths, physics and chemistry.

Those keen on biology or biotechnology oriented engineering courses have to attempt questions from biology, physics and chemistry. English and Aptitude questions are compulsory along with maths/biology, physics and chemistry.

Such candidates will not get any chance to attend the counselling process. Out of the total 125 questions, the sections include mathematics/biology (40), physics (35), chemistry (35), aptitude (10), and English (5).

Post preparation

Candidates have to appear for VITEEE 2025 and then pass it with required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next phase of the admission process.

The phase after written exam is counselling, those who have passed the written exam with required qualifying marks can take part in the counselling where candidates get to choose the college and course they wish to study.

Counselling is usually conducted in more than one round, those who get a seat in the initial rounds can pay the fees and join the classes.

Students who don’t get a seat in the first round can try in the subsequent rounds. Selection of candidates will be done on criteria like performance in the qualifying exam, performance in the written test, availability of seats in each course, demand for each course, choice of the candidates.
