VITEEE 2022 registration: All the great details are here
VITEEE 2022 registration has commenced and students can apply at the official website of the exam. Students aspiring to study engineering in the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) can take up VITEEE 2022 registration.
VIT is an institution which is based in Vellore in Tamil Nadu. It has campuses in Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal. There is no dearth of students willing to study technical courses.

The courses
VIT is a home to myriad engineering courses. Students who pass VITEEE 2022 would get to study Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Civil Engineering.
That is not all. Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are also among the host of courses available at the institution.

Computer Science Engineering is offered with specialisations in Artificial Intelligence, Electronics and Communication Engineering is offered with specialisation in Biomedical Engineering. These are just a few among the available courses, the offered programmes are much more.
If candidates are planning to study engineering courses related to biotechnology or other engineering courses which are biology oriented, they must have passed even in biology also in their plus-two.
Age limit
The date of birth of candidates taking up VITEEE 2022 registration must fall on or after 1 July 2000.
The date of birth as recorded in the High School/ SSC/X Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling/admission, failing which they will be disqualified.

The applicants for VITEEE 2022 must secure 60 percent pass marks in their qualifying exam (plus-two).
The applicants of VITEEE from SC/ST categories, Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the north eastern states of India must have 50 percent pass marks in their qualifying exam.
They must complete the registration process and obtain username and password. Post obtaining them, students can login using them and start applying. They have to fill the required information, upload the documents and pay the registration fee and submit the application.
Exam pattern
VITEEE will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration. The questions would be related to maths/biology, physics, chemistry, english and aptitude subjects. The questions in these subjects are based on lessons taught in class 12 in schools located across India.
Mathematics or Biology will have 40 questions, physics will have 35 questions, chemistry will have 35 questions, english will have 5 questions and aptitude will have 10 questions.
Students aspiring for pure engineering courses will have to choose maths and those aspiring for biology or biotechnology oriented engineering courses can choose biology along with other subjects instead of maths.

Post VITEEE 2022
The students who have completed their VITEEE 2022 registration will have to appear for the test at the time specified. Time and date of the exam would be announced in due course of time on the official website of the exam which has been mentioned above. Students can appear for the test in accordance with the schedule mentioned on the official website.

Students are likely to be allowed to choose the convenient date if the VITEEE is likely to be conducted on multiple dates. Post passing the written test, students have to take part in the counselling process where they can choose the course and the campus of the institution where they wish to study the programme of their choice. Candidates who get the seat can pay the fees and join the institution.
