Point to remember
The admission into MBA course at AKTU will be done on the basis of CMAT (Common Management Admission Test).

UPCET 2021 covers the admission of MBA in MMMUT in Gorakhpur.

UPCET 2021 also covers admission to lateral entry to second year of B.Tech of HBTU in Kanpur.

Admissions into B.Tech, B.Arch and M.Tech (integrated) in AKTU or other universities in Uttar Pradesh will be done based on JEE Mains 2021 score from academic year 2021-22.

Eligibility
The condition of eligibilty depends on the type of the course applicants wishes to join through UPCET 2021.

Undergraduate course
A pass in plus-two with required pass percentage is needed to apply for undergraduate course through UPCET 2021.

The pass percentage would be 50 to 55 percent for general category candidates. The same for SC/ST/ category applicants would be 40 to 50 percent.

The subjects in plus-two would usually be maths, physics and chemistry and biology.

Post graduate courses
Applicants of post graduate courses must have passed bachelors degree in the respective discipline in which they wish to pursue post graduation.

The pass percentage would be 50 to 55 percent for general category candidates. The same for SC/ST/ category applicants would be 40 to 50 percent.

Important dates
The submission of application for UPCET 2021 began from 1 April and applications can be submitted upto 5 pm of 30 April.

The registration fees in connection with UPCET 2021 can be paid till 11:50 pm of 30 April.

Corrections in the application forms submitted can be taken up from 2 to 5 May. UPCET 2021 will be conducted on 18 May.

The date for download of halltickets will be announced later on the website. Result declaration date will also be announced later on the website.

How to apply
The procedure to apply for UPCET 2021 is online. Individuals have to visit the official website of the exam hosted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

Soon after the webpage downloads, applicants have to scroll down the page and click any of the two buttons ‘UPCET For UG 2021-Fill Registration Form’ or ‘UPCET For PG 2021-Fill Registration Form’

Applicants can click any one of the two buttons depending on the course they wish to apply.

Post clicking any one of the buttons, candidates can commence registration to obtain username and password.

Candidates can commence the process of application for UPCET 2021 after obtaining the username and password.

Candidates have to provide the required information during the registration, upload the needed documents and pay the registration fee and submit the application form.

Documents to be uploaded
The documents to be uploaded while filling the application form for UPCET 2021 are given below:

# Marksheets of the qualifying exam – plus-two marksheets for UG programme and degree marksheet for PG programme

# Scanned image of applicant’s photo

# Scanned image of applicant’s signature

# Category certificate and other required certificates in case applicants claim privileges like reservation or age relaxation.

The above certificates to be uploaded can be scanned and saved either in JPG format or PDF format.

Registration fee
The registration fee for UPCET 2021 applicants is Rs 1300 if they are from General/OBC/General EWS/Third Gender/Male.

The same for women candidates and applicants from SC/ST/PwD categories is Rs 650.

The methods to pay the registration fee for UPCET 2021 exam is online banking, debit card, credit card or PayTM.

For undergraduate admission the questions will be on lessons related to maths, physics, chemistry and biology and other subjects taught plus-two level.

For postgraduate courses, questions related to subjects related to bachelors degree would appear.

In general common subjects like numerical ability, analytical aptitude will also be asked.
