UCEED 2023: Know all the great latest information

UCEED 2023 exam is over and the application process for the BDes course is on now. Candidates who have passed the well-known national level test can apply for BDes in IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur.
The application procedure for UCEED 2023 began on 30 September 2023 and the last date for submitting applications was 9 November 2022. November 16 was the last date to apply for UCEED 2023 with a payment of a late fee.


The exam was conducted on 22 January 2023, result for UCEED 2023 was declared on 9 March 2023. The scorecards for the exam were available for download from 11 March to 13 June.
The process to apply for the BDes course began on 14 March 2023, students who have passed UCEED 2023 can submit applications till 31 March 2023. The first round of seat allotment will happen on 10 April 2023.
The second round of seat allotment will happen on 10 May 2023, and the third round of seat allotment is on 10 June 2023. Students who have not applied for the course now can submit applications till 31 March 2023.

What is the UCEED 2023 exam?
The full name of the exam is Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design, it is a national-level exam conducted once a year. UCEED 2023 is held this year (2023).
The exam has two parts – Part A which is conducted in online mode and Part B which is conducted in offline mode. The questions in UCEED 2023 would be related to maths, general aptitude, drawing, design thinking, language and creativity.


Who can take up UCEED 2023 registration?
Candidates who have passed plus-two from a recognized educational institution can take up UCEED 2023 registration. It is nothing but applying for the exam.
Subjects in the plus-two must be from the science stream, engineering aspirants have to pass plus-two with maths, physics, and chemistry as subjects.
Students who have appeared for plus-two exams and are waiting for the results or are about to appear for plus-two exams can also apply. They have to, however, pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission.
How to take up NATA 2023 registration?
The process to undertake UCEED 2023 registration is online. Candidates have to visit the official website of UCEED 2023 at ‘https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in/2023/’ to submit applications.

The URL mentioned earlier has to be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download. Once the webpage is downloaded, candidates can read the information about the exam and then click the link for UCEED 2023 registration and create an account comprising a username and password.
Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill out the application form, pay the registration fees and then submit the application form.

How to apply for the BDes course
Students who have passed UCEED 2023 with the required qualifying marks can visit the official website at ‘https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in/2023/’ The above mentioned URL has to be typed in the browser and the webpage has to be allowed to download.
Once the webpage is downloaded, students can click the link to apply for BDes course and then check for seat matrix, eligibility criteria. Post checking, the link for application has to be clicked and then UCEED 2023 credentials (username and password created at the time of registration for UCEED) have to be used to log in.
After logging in, students can apply for admission and then upload the required documents and then submit the application form. Students who get the seat can pay the fees and join the course.
