Telangana State Department of School Education (TSDSE) is conducting this exam that determines the eligibility of candidates for the post of teachers in Telangana.

About the exam

The full name of the exam is Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test which is popular to all as TS TET or TSTET. This is a state level exam conducted every year and candidates who are interested in teaching profession can focus on this exam.

Those willing to take up teaching job for classes 6 to 8 can prepare for Paper 2. Applicants can choose to write either one of the papers or both while taking up TSTET 2023 registration.

Schedule

The notification in connection with TSTET 2023 registration was released on 1 August 2023. Application submission process began from 2 August and last date to take up TSTET 2023 registration is 16 September 2023.

The hall ticket will be available for the download from 9 September 2023 onwards. The results will be declared on 27 September 2023. For more details, candidates can see the official website.

Who can take up TSTET 2023 registration

The condition of eligibility for taking up TSTET 2023 registration depends upon the type of paper they desire to apply. More details are provided below:

Paper 1

Candidates willing to apply for Paper 1 through TSTET 2023 registration have to pass plus two with atleast 50% marks. Those from SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.

Applicants must also be a pass in 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Paper 2

Candidates willing to apply for this paper through TSTET 2023 registration must have passed graduation in any discipline with atleast 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.

They should have also passed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education). Those who have studied 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks (in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently
abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) can also apply.

How to take up TSTET 2023 registration?

The process to apply for TSTET 2023 registration is online. Applications can be submitted on the official website ‘https://tstet.cgg.gov.in/’ The detailed process is mentioned below:

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the website is downloaded, candidates can read about the vacancy by clicking the notification.

3. After reading about the vacancy, they can click <Online Payment> button.

4. Which will open another webpage with URL  ‘https://cggpggateway.cgg.gov.in/PAYMENTSSPR2020/#!/payentrytstet90745673w46561645845r2023.tstet’

5. After the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can pay the registration fees and then obtain journal number.

6. After obtaining the journal number on payment of registration fees, they can click the button <Online Application>

7 That will open another webpage with URL ‘https://tstet.cgg.gov.in/TSTETAPPL2022/#!/tstet2407ktk66166150152ktk023augappl.appl’

8. When the webpage with above URL opens, they can provide journal number, date of payment and date of birth and submit them.

9. After submitting them, the form will be available.

10. Candidates can fill the form and then submit it.

Paper 1 has questions related to Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II English, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.

Paper 2 has questions related to Child Development and Pedagogy, English, Mathematics and Science, Social Studies. The duration to answer questions is 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes for each paper.

After exam

Candidates who have taken up the TSTET 2023 registration completely will be able to write the exam. They have to pass the exam with minimum qualifying marks.

The minimum qualifying marks are 60% and above for General category candidates. The same for BC is 50% and above and SC/ST/PH category candidates it is 40% and above.

The Commission for Air Quality Management in Delhi NCR noticed due to increasing pollution in the city to put forward the revised schedule of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) IV. Due to this notice, all schools in Delhi NCR may need to stop conducting physical Classes for 6 to 9 and Class 11 and conduct classes in an online mode.

This notice further declares that all public, municipal, and private offices would work at 50% strength and the rest of the employees would work from home. Also, the central government may have to make appropriate decisions about allowing work from home for all the employees in the central government offices.

The GRAP IV document then further states, “NCR state govts and GNC’I’D decide on discontinuing physical classes even for classes VI-IX, class XI and conduct lessons in an online mode. NClt State governments, CNCTD to decide on allowing public, municipal, and private offices to work on 50% strength and the rest to work from home.” the official GRAP notification read.

“‘Children, the elderly, and those with respiratory, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular or other chronic diseases to avoid outdoor activities and stay indoors, as much as possible,’ reads the GRAP IV notice.
