The TS TET 2024 exam has two levels: paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 will be undertaken by primary teachers who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, while paper 2 is specially designed for secondary teachers who intend to teach Classes 6 to 8. Aspiring candidates who desire to teach classes from 1 to 8 have to appear for both papers.

TS TET 2024 Application Fee

Fee structure All candidates need to pay Rs 750 for a single paper. For both papers, Rs 1,000 is to be paid by a candidate while completing the registration process.

TS TET 2024 exam date

The TS TET 2024 will be conducted from January 1 to 20, 2025. The TS TET exam will be held in two sessions: Session 1: From 9:00 am to 11:30 am and Session 2: From 2:00 pm to 4: 30 pm. Per the official schedule, the TS TET 2024 admit card will be released on December 26.

On the other hand, paper 2 comprises four sections, child development and pedagogy, language-1, language-2, and option between mathematics and science or social studies. Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

The program was conducted at the Neel Diving Academy in Kochi, where trainers from both IRS and TIH IIT Guwahati delivered comprehensive theoretical and practical sessions.

Participants engaged in rigorous underwater welding exercises and underwent a series of technical evaluations. The quality and safety of their work samples were assessed against stringent standards, following which participants were certified for their proficiency in underwater welding, say sources from IIT Guwahati.

This certification program aligns with the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India) by building local expertise in underwater wet welding—a skill crucial for maintaining India’s offshore and maritime infrastructure, he said.
