TS POLYCET 2020 exam is conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training of Telangana state government.
The exam is conducted at state level and provides admission in various polytechnic institutions located across Telangana state to study various diploma courses.
Candidates after gaining admission can study diploma courses in engineering/non-engineering/technology streams.
As per the notificication on the official website of TS POLYCET 2020 exam, students who have attended the exam on 2 September are requested to go through the answer key (QP Set-A/B/C/D) of TS POLYCET 2020 exam and send the objections or corrections if any through email at ‘jtsecy-sbtet@telangana.gov.in’ on or before 8 pm of 4 September.
The online filing of applications for TS POLYCET 2020 began on 2 March this year, the last date to submit applications was 30 July with a fine of Rs 300.
TS POLYCET 2020 exam was held between 11 am to 1.30 pm on 2 September. Applicants for TS POLYCET 2020 exam can go to the official website of the exam ‘https://polycetts.nic.in/Default.aspx’ and click the button ‘POLYCET-2020 Examination Key’ written in green colour to obtain the answer key.

After the answer key is obtained applicants must keep the question paper with them and then see the answers provided in the answer key and try to recollect the answers they have written in the exam.
Doing this will help them guess corretly the marks they have got in the exam.
In case candidates have found that the answers they have given in TS POLYCET 2020 exam are right while the answer mentioned in the key is wrong, they can take it to the notice of the authorities over the email.
The objections, corrections raised by applicants will be noted and corrections will be made and the final results for TS POLYCET 2020 exam will be released.

Sources say, candidates have to ensure by comparing their answers with the answer key of TS POLYCET 2020 exam that they have got the marks which are equal to the cut-off or above it.
In case their scores are on par with cut-off or above it, they can get ready for the next stage of admission.
The basic cutoff to be achieved to get admission into polytechnic colleges is 36 for general category candidates, while for SC,ST category candidates there is no cut-off.
The official answer key for TS POLYCET exam is likely to be available by second week of September. After that the results are likely to be published.
Post publication of results counselling is called where candidates are offered seats based on their performance in the written test and availability of seats and the choice of the candidate.
TS POLYCET 2020 exam has Maths questions for 60 marks and 30 questions each from Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Maths is for 60 marks and other three subjects are for 30 marks each.
The results for the exam can be checked on the official website mentioned earlier. They have to click the appropriate link for the result and type their roll number (hall-ticket number) and other information.
