TS EAMCET 2023: Great registration begins on 3 March
TS EAMCET 2023 registration process has begun on 3 March 2023 and the last date is 10 April 2023 for submission with no late fee. Students can submit their applications for TS EAMCET 2023 with a late fee payment of Rs 250 till 15 April 2023.
Applications for TS EAMCET 2023 can be submitted till 20 April 2023 with a late fee payment of Rs 500. The late fee is Rs 2500 if the application is submitted on 25 April 2023. Candidates who can pay a late fee of Rs 5000 can submit applications for TS EAMCET 2023 till 2 May 2023.
The courses mentioned above are popularly known as BE/BTech./B.Pharmacy/BSc Agri and the score in TS EAMCET 2023 will be considered while providing admission into them.
TS EAMCET 2023 will be conducted from 7 to 9 May 2023 for engineering. Students aiming for pharmacy or agriculture courses at graduation have to appear for TS EAMCET 2023 on 10 and 11 May 2023.
Admit cards for the test will be opened for download from 30 April 2023 onwards. JNTU Hyderabad is conducting the test on behalf of the Telangana State Higher Education Council (TSCHE).
Individuals have to pass TS EAMCET 2023 with minimum qualifying marks also known as cutoff scores. They are the minimum marks candidates have to score in the exam to be eligible for further process.
Scores of the candidates in TS EAMCET 2023 must be either greater than the cutoff marks or equal to them to be eligible for further process. The further process likely involves counselling and document verification.
What is the TS EAMCET 2023 Exam?
The full name is Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical (Pharmacy, Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance test that is conducted once a year. TS EAMCET 2023 is meant to be conducted this year (2023).
TS EAMCET 2023 will be conducted online where answers have to be marked on a computer. The format of questions is multiple choice, where each question will have more than one option and the right one has to be chosen to get the marks.
The exam has questions related to mathematics, physics and chemistry for those applying for engineering courses. Students aiming for agriculture, pharmacy or nursing courses have to answer questions related to biology, physics and chemistry. The questions will be from lessons taught in these subjects regularly at the class 12 level in recognized educational institutions.
Who can apply for the exam?
The eligibility to apply for TS EAMCET 2023 is a pass in plus-two in the science stream. Subjects in plus-two must be maths, physics and chemistry for students willing to join engineering.
Candidates aiming for pharmacy, and agriculture should have passed plus-two with biology, physics and chemistry as subjects. The applicants must be a native of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
Applicants of TS EAMCET 2023 must have at least 45% and 40% (for Unreserved and reserved categories respectively) in the plus-two exam.
The candidates should satisfy local/non–local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana /Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
How to apply?
The process to apply for TS EAMCET 2023 is online and candidates have to visit the official website of the exam to submit applications. The URL to reach it is ‘https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in/’
The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser of the computer and the website has to be allowed to download. Once the webpage is available, applicants for TS EAMCET 2023 have to click the required link and pay the registration fee and obtain the confirmation number.
Once the confirmation number is obtained, candidates can click the link for filling out the application form and start providing all the information on that.
The application has to be filled out and submitted. Post submission, candidates can obtain a confirmation message indicating successful submission. Once obtained, applicants can download it and take a printout of it.
After application submission
Hall tickets have to be downloaded, they will be made available for download from 30 April 2023 onwards. Students have to appear for TS EAMCET 2023 from 7 to 9 May 2023 for engineering and 10 to 12 May 2023 for pharmacy, agriculture and other courses.
The test has to be passed with the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next process which involves counselling and document verification.
The results of TS EAMCET will be displayed on the official website and dates for that will likely be announced in the due course. Students who pass TS EAMCET with the required qualifying marks can apply for counselling. Those who get a seat in the course of their choice can pay the fees and join the classes.
