It was only in the recent past that National Testing Agency (NTA) NEET UG 2020 exam to select students for filling medical seats across the country.

Though NEET UG 2020 was supposed to be held much earlier, outbreak of corona virus resulted in postponement of the popular exam.

The first phase is for filling 15 percent of MBBS seats in All India quota, the second phase of counselling is undertaken by various states to fill the remaining 85 percent of MBBS seats.

The first phase counselling has already begun, the second phase will also be taking place soon.

Students have the freedom to choose the first phase or the second phase which is also known as the Statewise NEET counselling.

1. Tamil Nadu
The first one in the Statewise NEET counselling schedule is that of Tamil Nadu. The state has commenced registrations for medical admission counselling from 3 November.

Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has begun the sale of applications online from 3 November. The last date of submitting the applications online is 5 pm of November 12.

The classes will commence by December 15, while application purchase and submission will take place online, counselling will take place offline by strictly following the safety protocols.

2. Himachal Pradesh
The second one in Statewise NEET counselling is that of Himachal Pradesh where Himachal Pradesh University will conduct NEET counselling.

In a notification, University invites applications from the eligible candidates for MBBS and BDS seats under State/Management quota in all government medical and dental colleges.

Applicants targeting medical or dental admissions can get into the websites ‘www.hpuniv.ac.in’
or ‘https://hp.online-counselling.co.in/’ and fill the application from 4 to 10 November.

3. Rajasthan
This is the third in Statewise NEET counselling. The application submission for admission and counselling has begun on 1 November and will go on till 6 November.

Candidates can submit applications online till 11:45 pm of 6 November and last date to remit application fee is 4 pm of 6 November.

The counselling for medical admission is being organised by Office of Chairman of NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board and Principal, Government Dental College (Jaipur).

4. Uttar Pradesh
This is the fourth one among the Statewise NEET counselling.

Directorate General of Medical Education and Training of Uttar Pradesh will be organising the counselling and admission.

Candidates targeting medical admissions can begin registration from 4 pm of 5 November till 8 November. The verification of documents, academic certificates, caste certificates will take place from 12 pm of 6 November to 9 November.

The verification will begin by 12 pm on 6 November, on other days it will start by 9 am.

Applicants can visit the website ‘https://upneet.gov.in/’ and register themselves for the couselling.

Medical admission and counselling is being conducted by Department of Medical Education of Madhya Pradesh Government.

The registration for the counselling for medical admission has started on 1 November, medical education aspirants can register for the admission and counselling till 12 pm of 10 November.

Publication of vacancies will take place from 4 November to 6 November, objections against the vacancies will also be invited during the same time.

Disposal of objection and publication of final vacancies will take place on 7 November and publication of state merit list of registered candidates will take place on 11 November.

6. Maharashtra
This is the sixth one in the Statewise NEET counselling.

The counselling and admissions for medicine is conducted by Directorate of Medical Education and Research of Government of Maharashtra.

Maharashtra has a special place as far as NEET UG 2020 is concerned. The highest number of candidates to attend the NEET UG exam this year were said to be from Maharashtra.

7. Telangana
This is the seventh one among the Statewise NEET counselling. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences began ogranising the registration for medical admission and counselling on 1 November.

Medical admission aspirants can register for admissions and counselling till 5 pm of 8 November.

It is also interesting to note that the same university released NEET UG rank list of students who are Telangana domicile.

The rank list can be accessed at ‘knruhs.telangana.gov.in’ The cutoff also has been released, for general category candidates its 147 and the same for SC, ST, Backward and also physically challenged candidates in these categories is 113.

The cutoff of physically challenged candidates coming in the general category is 129.

The date of release of provisional final merit list of the candidates will be notified later.

8. Andhra Pradesh
This is the eighth among the Statewise NEET counselling.

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in Vijawada is organising the counselling and admission for medical education.

As per the cutoff set by the institution, general category applicants have to get 147 marks, physically challenged category candidates in the same category are to have 129 marks.

Cutoff marks for SC,ST and Backward classes and also the physically challenged candidates in these categories is 113 marks.

Sources say, the counselling process is likely to be held online keeping in view the COVID-19 situation. The subsequent document verification is also likely to be made online.

Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) is conducting the counselling for medical admissions in the state.

Candidates willing to apply for medical admission must first visit the official website ‘http://medadmgujarat.ncode.in/UG/Index.aspx’ and purchase PIN and then register their documents and get them verified at the same website above.

As per the schedule, PIN purchase has been opened from 11 am of 2 November, the PIN can be bought till 4 pm of 9 November.

Online registration also began by 11 am of 2 November and will go on till 8 pm of 9 November.

Submission of self attested documents began on 11 am of 2 November, documents can be submitted till 4 pm of 10 November.

The same is the time for subsequent verification of documents.

10. Haryana
This is the tenth one among the Statewise NEET counselling.

Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER) of Government of Haryana will be conducting the counselling for medical admissions.

Candidates willing to apply for undergraduate medical admission counselling have to register online at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, website ‘www.uhsr.ac.in’ and on the website of Directorate General of Medical Education and Research ‘www.dmerharyana.org’

The counselling schedule and procedure will be announced later and medical education aspirants can visit the above said websites regularly to obtain information in this regard.

Candidates have to appear in person before the Admission Committee at Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences for document verification.

Who will conduct AAT 2025?

AAT 2025 will be conducted by IIT Kanpur and is expected to see a participation in impressive numbers. The same institution is conducting JEE Advanced 2025.

Who can take up AAT 2025 registration?

Students who have passed JEE Advanced 2025 with required qualifying marks can take up AAT 2025 registration. Applying for JEE Advanced requires a pass in JEE Mains.

Candidates who have passed plus two with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects will be able to take up JEE Mains registration. The process to take up JEE Advanced AAT 2025 registration is online.

Candidates who have completed JEE Advanced AAT 2025 registration must also know the exam pattern if they are to score good marks.

Those who have taken up AAT 2025 registration can take up the exam which will be held in offline mode, as a pen and paper mode test.

Candidates will have three hours time to answer all the questions. The medium of the test is English.

Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity

Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping.

Creativity check through innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application.

The medium of the test is English. The sections in the question paper are – Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity, three dimensional perception, Geometrical drawing, Freehand drawing and Architectural Awareness.

The admit cards obtained for JEE Advanced 2025 can also be used to gain entry into the test centers for AAT 2024.
