Founder chancellor of SRM University AP and member of Parliament (Perambalur, Tamil Nadu) Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar met the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh recently.
He was accompanied by SRM University AP president P. Sathyanarayanan, its vice chancellor Professor V.S. Rao, its pro-vice chancellor D. Narayana Rao and its registrar D. Gunasekharan.
Chief Minister further said his government was keen on expanding the realms of education in the state.
Dr. Paarivendhar invited the Chief Minister to visit the campus of SRM University AP to inaugurate the newly built complex of research laboratories and auditorium of international standards on the university campus.
He further requested the CM to help in the creation of roads and other infrastructure required for the development of SRM University AP.

CM Jagan Reddy has assured that the growth of education sector is one of the top priority works for his government.
The Chief Minister mentioned the request to Mr Dhanunjaya Reddy, Chief Secretary to the CM, for improving the road connectivity to SRM University AP and facilitate other infrastructure development aspects, as requested by the university.
