Sharda University conducts great 8th convocation day
Sharda University was the cynosure of all eyes when it conducted its eighth convocation day recently. Over 3511 students received degrees during the event.
Students receiving degrees comprised 2427 undergraduate degrees, 998 postgraduate degrees, and 86 PhD degrees, say sources from Sharda University.
Moreover, 22 postgraduate students and 89 undergraduate students were awarded Merit Certificates, say sources from Sharda University.
Chief Guest
The chief guest for the convocation day of Sharda University were John T. Chambers, Chairman CISCO, Founder & CEO, JC2 Ventures.
Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President & CEO, US-India Strategic Partnerships Forum was also the eminent guest for the graduation day of Sharda University.
Sharda University Chancellor P.K. Gupta and Pro-Chancellor Y.K. Gupta welcomed the guests with shawls and mementos.

I know how much hard work and dedication it takes to get here. Personally, I owe much of my success to my parents, who taught me that education is the true means of equality in life, he said during the convocation at Sharda University.

We are focusing on investing in and mentoring new-age firms that can be built and scaled up, he added, emphasizing that startups are the key drivers of innovation and economic growth in the digital age.
Our roots represent our culture, values, and identity. They keep us grounded, give us strength, and make us feel connected. Holding on to these roots is essential because they form the foundation upon which we build our future, he said.
When your roots are strong, guided by the right values, and you use your wings wisely, you can write your own success story, he said speaking during the graduation day at Sharda University.
But always remember, no matter how high you soar, never forget the values that keep you grounded. These will guide you through every challenge and success, he said.
So as you step into the world, make sure you always carry your values with you. These will lead you to both success and satisfaction in life, he said.
Adopt new ideas, be ready to learn, and always show interest in new areas to expand your knowledge, said Sharda University Chancellor.
Students should have knowledge not only of their courses but also of others. The goal of education is not just to earn a degree, but the holistic development of the individual, said Sharda University Chancellor.
Those who have received degrees should work towards taking the country forward. In the future, use your knowledge of higher education and new technology for the nation’s benefit, he said.
