Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 registrations are open and students desirous of scholarship can apply till May 15.
This one is a bit unique from other scholarship schemes.
Applicants have to pass the exam with a good score to get a scholarship. The process to register is also online.

About the exam
Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 is conducted by Medhavi Scholarship Scheme which comes under National Human Resource Development Mission (HRDM).
HRDM was established in 2014, the purpose behind providing the scholarship is to enable students to meet a part of their daily expenses while studying or while preparing for a job.
Individuals have to pass the exam with a good score to get the scholarship.
The financial assistance will be transferred to the bank account of the students who pass the exam with a good score within seven days after the exam.
Point to remember
Students have to score not less than 35% marks in Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 to make way into the merit list.
Applicants scoring below 35% will not be considered for merit.
The allotment of financial assistance is to be done based on the merit list and number of applications received.
Monthly scholarship will be paid in two consecutive months.
This only means, the number of scholarship may be increased or decreased.
Decision of the organization shall be final in this regard.
Candidates selected for providing finance through Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 have to provide their bank account number and IFSC Code of the branch (bank) in which they are holding the account.
Scholarship
Candidates passing Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 will be awarded financial assistance under three categories – Type A, Type B and Type C.
About 686 candidates will be awarded Type A scholarship which is Rs.6000 (1st month) and Rs.6000 (2nd month).
About 309 candidates will be awarded Type B scholarship, which is Rs.3000 (1st month) and Rs.3000/- (2nd month).
And, 243 candidates will be awarded Type C scholarship, which is Rs.1500 (1st month) and Rs.1500/- (2nd month).
Required score
Candidates must score 60 percent and above in Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 to get Type A scholarship.
Those who score 50 to 59 percent win Type B Scholarship.
Winning Type C scholarship requires candidates to score 40 to 49 percent in Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021.
Point to remember
Candidates who score a minimum passing marks of 35% or above in Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 and do not fall under any merit list will be given Rs.300 (one time only) as refund of registration fee.
Even those who passed 11th standard, 12th standard, graduation, post graduation can also apply.
The age of the applicant must be 16 years at minimum and 40 years at the maximum as on the last date of the registration.
How to apply
The procedure to register for Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 is online.
Applicants have to download the ‘Medhavi’ App from Google Playstore on their mobile phones.
Medhavi is currently available on Google Playstore. The Apple Store (iOS) version is expected to be ready soon.
Post dowloading the App, applicants have to open it and click the appropriate link and fill the form with required information.

Registration fee of Rs 300 has to be paid after filling the application form for Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021.
Post fee payment, applicants can submit the form.
A confirmation mail consisting registration ID will be sent to the E-mail of the candidate.

They will find two buttons ‘CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD MEDHAVI APPLICATION’ and ‘Register Now’
Candidates can click any one of these two button to obtain Medhavi android app on Google Playstore and commence registration for Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021.
Point to remember
Applicants have to provide only that email id which they regularly use while filling the application for Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021.
Any communication regarding the exam will be likely sent to the email id of the applicant, in such a case, candidates must provide only that email id which they regularly use for communication purposes.
Candidates are not required to submit to the Organization either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document.
The exam will be conducted on 30 May and the result with the answer key will be released by 9 am on 2 June.
Candidates can raise objections against the questions (answerkey) on 2 June itself.
Those who won the scholarship can submit their bank account details and required documents from 2 to 4 June.
Scholarship distribution, verification and refund process will happen from 5 to 7 June. The process will conclude on 9 June.

The exam process
The tentative date for conducting Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 is 30 May.
The time of the examination will be intimated in the ‘Online Test’ section of Medhavi Android App three days before the commencement of the test.
Applicants are advised to keep visiting the App on their mobile phone regularly for updates regarding the exam.
Candidates have to open the App on the day of the exam a bit before the scheduled timing and click the appropriate link and begin writing the exam at the stipulated time.
Test pattern
Saksham Scholarship Exam 2021 will have questions in multiple choice format.
There is a penalty for wrong answers in this exam. One-third of the mark is deducted for every question wrongly answered.
Questions left unanswered will not have any penalty.
Candidates have to field questions related to Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Studies and English in the exam.
There will be 11 questions related to Reasoning with 11 marks, Quantitative Aptitude has 11 questions with 11 marks.
General Studies will have 9 questions that carry 9 marks. English will also have 9 questions with 9 marks.
All the questions have to be answered in 18 minutes and there will be no seperate time limit for each section.

Spotting errors, Fill in the blank Cloze Test, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms and antonyms, Reconstruction of sentence & passage, one word substitution, Phrase substitution, Jumbled up sentences, Double blanks in a sentence, commonly misspelled words, Comprehension passages, correction of sentences, synthesis of sentences.
Candidates’ ability to understand basic English, their basic comprehension would be tested.
