NT Abhyas 2020: Great app to help power-up NEET, JEE preparation
NT Abhyas (National Testing Abhyas) is already winning the admiration of many people, it can be said.
It is a mobile app for those students who are preparing for NEET or JEE Mains.
NT Abhyas will have one full question paper every day which is of three hour duration. Students can get into the app and take the test at any time in the day.
All they have to do is type ‘National Testing Abhayas‘ in the search box after the playstore opens. The app with the above name carrying the logo of NTA appears. NEET or JEE Mains aspirants have to download it.

A pass in JEE Mains gives scope for students to study engineering in prestigious institutions like IIT or IISC, NEET allows its aspirants to study medicine courses in the well-known colleges located across India.
Cracking NEET or JEE Mains requires a lot of practice and preparation and NT Abhyas is designed to help them do that.
Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank further said NT Abhyas was designed by NTA keeping in view many requests it received from students.
NT Abhyas has question paper and students can answer questions and get immediate scores, correct answers with explanations. NT Abhyas will have the feature of analysing the time spent on each section.
NT Abhyas will help candidates in simulating the identical CBT environment and identify their exact areas of improvement, right from conceptual errors to careless mistakes.
The app is also said to offer personalised analytics for each test which is easy to understand and will ensure students have improved time management.
Using NT Abhyas will also ensure elimination of careless mistakes, improved speed and accuracy. NT Abhyas will also enhance awareness on reasons that lie behind losing marks.
NT Abhyas is also an app that suggests the areas of improvement, candidates can follow them and undertake required corrections in order to improve their score.

DOs
Make sure users are signed in with their email/phone number and Password and you have downloaded the test.
Ensure that the battery in their device is sufficiently charged for serving 3 hrs before starting the test. It is recommended that the device is on charging mode during the test.
One must make sure users are on Airplane mode before starting the test to avoid disturbance.
Connect the device to the internet to download the test question paper to attempt offline. Make sure download of the paper is done beforehand so as to avoid last minute rush.
Candidates must ensure that their mobile phone is synchronised to the internet before submitting their paper to generate their result and score improvement report.
Candidates must sure they begin the test with a plan. They must start with their strongest section.
Candidates must go through the entire paper and attempt the questions they know first.
Candidates must make sure they save at least 20-30 minutes in the end to revisit their answers. In an online test, they can change their answer at any time.
DONTs
Candidates must not change the date and time of the device in between the test, on doing so the test will get auto-submitted.
Candidates must not submit the test before time. Try to use the entire duration of the test wisely.
Also candidates must not be out of the NT Abhayas for more than 30 seconds, if they are then the test will auto submit.

For the best experience, candidates must make sure they are attempting the test in Google Chrome as their preferred browser.
They must read the test instructions carefully before starting the test and make sure they follow them.
Candidates must ensure that their device has continuous supply of electricity for serving three hours before starting test or power backup is available.
Students must make sure they are on a stable internet connection of 1 MBPS or more.
They must also make sure they begin the test with a plan.
They can start with their strongest section.
They must go through the entire paper and attempt the questions they know first.
Make sure the users save at least 20-30 mins in the end to revisit their answers. In an online test, they can change their answer at any time.
DONTs (using it on the website)
Students must not share the password with anyone. If another student takes a test from their account, they will not be able to take the test again.
Candidates must not switch, close or refresh the active test window once the have started the test.
They must not change the local date and time of the device while taking the test.
Students must not attempt the test in any other device or browser after starting the paper at the same time.
Don’t panic in the test. Students can take their time to go through the entire paper and solve questions they know for sure.
They must not attempt questions they don’t know how to solve. Spending time on such questions will only waste their time.
Students must not indulge in guess-work. Every incorrect attempt carries negative marks.
They must not submit the test before time. Try to use the entire duration of the test wisely.
Students must not close the browser in case any question does not load properly or the loading takes longer after submitting the test.
