Totally there will be 31 courses in BSc Programming and Data Science and will have 116 credits. Candidate who wants a complete degree in the New course by IIT Madras must complete all the three levels.

If candidates walks out after first level completion he or she will have foundational certificate, if student walks out at second level he will get a diploma certificate.

The eligibility to join the New course by IIT Madras is the candidate must have studied Mathematics and English in class 10.

They must also have cleared their class 12 or its equivalent exam. Applicants must also be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program OR should have
graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech, BCom, etc.) OR they may have dropped out from a Bachelor’s degree.

Sources say, this year there would be an exception, where applications for this New course by IIT Madras will be accepted from students who will complete their class 12 in 2020.
