NATA 2021 2nd exam: Great regn open till 30 June
NATA 2021 2nd exam registration is open till 11:59 pm of 30 June for students aspiring to study architecture.
The first edition of NATA 2021 exam was held on 10 April. NATA 2021 2nd exam will be conducted on 11 July this year.

The second edition of NATA 2021 is to be held from 10 am to 1 pm. Another session of NATA 2021 2nd exam if required will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

About the exam
NATA 2021 is expanded into National Aptitude Test in Architecture 2021.
This is a national level entrance exam conducted by Council of Architecture (COA).
Candidates who pass this exam will be able to gain admission in reputed colleges across the country to study architecture at undergarduate level.
About COA
The Council of Architecture (CoA) has been constituted by the Government of India under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972.
This Act was enacted by the Parliament of India and came into force with effect from 1 September, 1972.
The Act provides for registration of architects, standards of education, recognized
qualifications and standards of professional conduct and etiquette to be complied with by the architects.
The COA is vested with the responsibility of maintaining the register of architects on national basis as well as regulating the Architecture education and practice of Architecture profession throughout India.
For this purpose, the Government of India has framed Rules and Council has framed Regulations as provided for in the Architects Act, with the approval of Government of India.
Any person desirous of carrying on the profession as ‘Architect’ must have registration with COA.
Students who have passed diploma (10+3) with maths as one of the subjects can also apply for the exam.
Even candidates who are appearing for their plus-two or 10+3 in 2022 can also apply for NATA 2021 2nd exam.
Point to remember
Applicants for NATA 2021 2nd exam must have passed their qualifying exams (plus-two or 10+3) with 50 percent pass marks.
The minimum pass percentage in plus-two or 10+3 exams must be 50 percent.
Important dates
The application submission for NATA 2021 2nd exam began on 5 March this year. The last date to register is 11:59 pm June 30.
Images can be uploaded till 11:50 pm of 30 June. Fee payment can be done till 11:59 pm of 30 June.
Candidates can print the confirmation page for application submission for NATA 2021 2nd exam till 11:59 pm of 30 June.
Candidates can take up correction in application from 10:30 am of 20 June till 11:59 pm of 30 June.
The admit cards in connection with NATA 2021 2nd exam can be downloaded on 7 July.
NATA 2021 2nd exam will be conducted on 11 July and results will be declared on 15 July.

Soon after the webpage downloads, candidates can click the button ‘NATA-2021 Registration’ and commence registration to obtain username and password.
The candidates can login using the username and password and start applying for NATA 2021 2nd exam.
Candidates can provide the required information, upload the required documents and pay the registation fee and submit the application for NATA 2021 2nd exam.
Registration fee
The registration fee for NATA 2022 applicants who belong to general category (Open/Forward Category -OC/FC) have to pay Rs 2,000.
The same for SC/ST and transgender applicants is Rs 1500.

Point to remember
The photograph must be of 4 to 100 kb in size. The signature image must be of 1 to 30 kb in size.
The exam pattern
NATA 2021 2nd exam will be an exam comprising 125 questions for 200 marks.
The questions in multiple choice format have to be answered in 180 minutes (three hours).
The questions are of 1, 2 or 3 marks and medium of the test will be English.
Also questions related to geometry, language and interpretation, elements and principles of design, aesthetic sensitivity, colour theory, lateral thinking and logical reasoning, visual perception and cognition, graphics and imagery, building anatomy and architectural vocabulary, basic techniques of building construction and knowledge of material, general knowledge and current affairs would be asked in the exam.
The aptitude of the candidate will be assessed using some or all of the following techniques:
• Diagrammatic Reasoning – Tests the ability of logical reasoning, using diagrams and scenarios
• Numerical Reasoning – Tests mathematical ability through simple problems
• Verbal Reasoning – Assesses the ability to assess verbal logic.
• Inductive Reasoning – Tests the ability to see patterns and analyse given data
• Situational Judgment – Tests problem-solving ability.
• Logical Reasoning – Tests ability to recognise patterns, sequences or relationships between shapes and imagery.
• Abstract Reasoning – Will assess general knowledge, and ability to utilise knowledge in new situations.
