MEC engineering admission is all about applying for engineering couses at graduate level in Mahindra University’s Ecole Centrale School of Engineering (MEC) for academic year 2020-24.
MEC is Hyderabad based well-known educational institution. MEC engineering admission is for admitting students into seven academic disciplines.
It was only in the August this year that eligibility criteria for MEC engineering admission was announced.
The announcement further said those who applied for MEC engineering admission by 15 August will get an opportunity to take part in early round of online counselling.
MEC has total of 400 seats and the eligibility criteria announced for MEC engineering admission was the score in JEE Mains.
The other eligibility criteria for MEC engineering admission is that the applicant must be having a valid SAT subject test score or ACT scores.
Or candidates must be having a 80% or equivalent grade cumulatively in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry Subjects in 10+2 from any statutory board.
Students targeting MEC engineering admission through JEE/SAT/ACT mode have to remember that those who are targeting the admissions must have 60 percent pass marks in their plus-two exam.
Applicants focusing on MEC engineering admission must remember that SAT college code for MEC is 6723, while the ACT code for MEC is 1776.
Process to apply for MEC engineering admission is simple.
Once the button is clicked and the page downloads, students can register themselves and obtain userid and password.
Post obtaining them, students can login and start applying for MEC engineering admission.
After the process of applying for MEC engineering admission is over, registration fee has to be paid.
The registration fee for applying for MEC engineering admission is Rs 1000 for Indian applicants. The same for Persons of Indian Origin applicants or NRI applicants is $ 50.
There are three methods of payment of registration fees for MEC admission process.
As per the first process candidates can approach any bank in their city and pay cash for the registration fee and obtain acknowledgement receipt and upload that in the online application portal for MEC admission.

The second method to pay the registration fee for MEC admission is to take a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of ‘Mahindra Ecole Centrale’ payable at Hyderabad, India.
Students can retain the photocopy of the DD or the cash receipt with themselves.
