That is not all students who apply for MEC admission on their official website by this 15 August will get an opportunity to take part in early round of online counselling.

Students can visit official website ‘www.mechyd.ac.in’ and apply on or before 15 August.

Those who applied for MEC admission on or before 10 May got an opportunity to take part in the first round of early online counselling.

The last date to apply for MEC admission this year is 12 September 2020.

Speaking about the current admission, Vice chancellor of Mahindra University Dr. Yajulu Medury said Mahindra University is focused on students’ welfare and in these Covid times when the exams JEE Mains and SAT are being cancelled and rescheduled, the students and their guardians are justifiably worried about the admissions of their wards.

The criteria for MEC admissions will be either JEE Mains, that is the students have to qualify in JEE Main examination and become eligible to write the JEE Advanced 2020 exam.

Or candidates seeking MEC admission must have a valid SAT subject test scores or SAT Scores or ACT scores or must be a pass in Plus-two exams with 80 percent or equivalent grade with subjects as Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

There are about 400 seats for which MEC admissions are being conducted. Courses offered at the institute are across seven disciplines.

SAT college code for MEC is 6723, while the ACT code for MEC is 1776.

The application for MEC admission is a simple process which can be done very quickly by following a few simple steps.

The first step MEC admission process is to visit the official website ‘https://www.mahindraecolecentrale.edu.in/admission’ soon after the page downloads, applicants must click button ‘APPLY NOW’ written in white colour on yellow background.

Once the button is clicked and the page downloads, students can register themselves and obtain userid and password. Post obtaining them, students can login and start applying for MEC admission.

Candidates have to upload their latest photograph and then go ahead for paying the registration fee for MEC admission.

The registration fee for applying for MEC admission is Rs 1000 for Indian applicants. The same for Persons of Indian Origin applicants or NRI applicants is $ 50.

There are three methods of payment of registration fees for MEC admission process.

As per the first process candidates can approach any bank in their city and pay cash for the registration fee and obtain acknowledgement receipt and upload that in the online application portal for MEC admission.

About AP POLYCET 2025

Its complete name is Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test and is popular as AP POLYCET.

The exam is conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training of Andhra Pradesh.

Test will be conducted offline, as a pen and paper-based test where the answers have to be marked on an answer sheet provided separately at the test centers which will be situated across Andhra Pradesh.

Who can take up AP POLYCET 2025 registration?

The eligibility to take up AP POLYCET 2025 registration is a pass in the 10th standard from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in Andhra Pradesh.

Applicants must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for the 10th class or equivalent examination and whose results are yet to be declared can also take up AP POLYCET 2025 registration.

These students have to pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission. There is more to it than meets the eye as far as AP POLYCET 2025 is concerned.

Registration fees

Candidates from OC/BC categories have to pay Rs 400 as fee while taking up AP POLYCET 2025 registration. Those from SC/ST categories have to pay Rs 100 as fee while taking up AP POLYCET 2025 registration.

Hall Ticket

Candidates who have successfully completed their AP POLYCET 2025 registration can alone download the admit card from the official website ‘https://polycetap.nic.in/Default.aspx’

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and then submitted to allow the webpage to download.

2. Once the webpage is ready, the link for hall ticket download has to be clicked.

3. After clicking the link, information like application number, date of birth have to be entered and submitted to view the hall ticket. Once the hall ticket is visible, candidates can download it and take a printout.

Counselling is the process where the candidates can choose the college to study the course of their choice.

The process of counselling can be conducted in more than one round. Students who get a seat can convey the acceptance and pay the fees and join the college.

Students who do not get a seat in the first round of counselling connected with AP POLYCET 2025 can perhaps try in the subsequent rounds.

The schedule for counselling will be declared shortly after the release of the AP POLYCET 2025 results.
