MBA Entrepreneurship and Innovation course admission is going on now at IIM Lucknow. The last date to apply for it is 30 June 2023. It is interesting to note that this is a new course launched by IIM Lucknow.
MBA Entrepreneurship and Innovation aims to provide potential entrepreneurs with skills, knowledge and industry exposure to enable them to successfully launch and operate their own ventures.
This course is of 16-month duration and is a focused, intense, practical program with the sole objective of allowing students to envision, design, build and launch their own venture.

IIM Lucknow director Professor Archana Shukla speaking about MBA Entrepreneurship and Innovation said IIM Lucknow has cultivated a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem with the establishment of two successful incubators.
The MBA program takes advantage of this ecosystem and further enhances it, said Professor Archana.
What sets this MBA apart is its distinctive approach to admission and curriculum philosophy, which prioritizes skill development and seeks to unleash the entrepreneurial spirit, said the IIM Lucknow director.
Modules
This MBA program will have five modules including Problem Articulation, Go to Market, and Fund Raising, as well as a 3-month internship with an entrepreneur or venture capitalist.
In addition, students will benefit from one-on-one mentorship by alumni entrepreneurs.
IIM Lucknow fosters a dynamic entrepreneurial culture and has a thriving community of over 600 alumni entrepreneurs, along with other alumni working in related fields such as venture capitalists, angel investors, and consultants.
The MBA course is a further addition to the Institute’s rich ecosystem for entrepreneurship.

Within the IIM Lucknow campus, there are two incubators situated at the Noida campus: the SCI-FI Incubator and the L-Incubator.
These incubators are dedicated to nurturing entrepreneurial talent and provide a range of resources and amenities.
These include an Artificial Intelligence lab equipped with a supercomputer, co-working spaces and dedicated helpdesks for addressing finance and legal matters.
The MBA program leverages these exceptional facilities and others available on campus to effectively pursue its objectives and create a conducive environment for achieving entrepreneurial success.
Who can apply?
The applicants of this course must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India. They must also have passed CAT or GMAT exams with required qualifying marks.

Process of selection
Students will be shortlisted based on their scores in CAT or GMAT for the interview. Students who appear for the interview will have to accomplish the tasks set for them there. Selection will likely be based on performance in the test (CAT or GMAT), performance in the qualifying exam, work experience, existing demand, availability of seats.
