MAT May 2020 exam: Great, hurry to apply, regn extended
MAT May 2020 exam application submission last date has been extended till 24 June for PBT and 10 June for CBT.
Candidates willing to take MAT May 2020 exam in the paper-based-test (PBT or offline) format can apply till 24 June, on the other hand candidates who want to take MAT May 2020 exam in Computer-based-Test (CBT or online) method can apply till 10 June.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes.
Government of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School – national or international – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates.
The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT is said to be a gateway to over 600 B-Schools across India.
However, they have to produce their results copies at the time of commencement of admission process. Applicants have to remember that they can take the MAT May 2020 Exam either in online or offline mode.
This year candidates have an extra option also of taking MAT May 2020 exam in Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT).
IBT is a method through which candidates can take this test from their home itself. Sources say this system is being introduced from this year itself.
Taking the test in IBT mode is subject to certain conditions. Applicants should have a computer together with webcam and internet facilities meeting certain specifications.
The sanctity and security of the test are effectively maintained through remote proctoring in dual mode i.e., by employing robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) based tools as also human proctors.
In order to help candidates to familiarize themselves with this new mode of testing, AIMA has also scheduled mock MAT-IBT sessions at a nominal extra fees.
These mock tests accurately replicate the testing environment and help candidates build familiarity with the same. Thus, these would ensure that the candidates are adequately prepared for the main test.
Candidates now have the option to choose any one or more of the three modes of test i.e., IBT, PBT and CBT.

Also, candidate can opt for both PBT and CBT by paying an extra fees of Rs 1100 in addition to Rs 1650.
Candidates opting for both PBT and CBT will have the benefit of selecting additional two management institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting five management institutes, that is, they can select seven management institutes in total.

Post download of the required webpage after clicking the above link, candidates must register for and obtain username and password.
Applicants must login entering the username and password and commence the process of applying for MAT May 2020 exam.
The last date for applying for MAT May 2020 exam is 24 June for PBT and 10 June for CBT modes. The admit cards will be available for download 26 June for both the modes.
