MAT 2024 registration is on till 20 February 2024 at ‘https://mat.aima.in/’ for those who wish to take MAT in paper based test (PBT) mode.

It is about Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA).

MAT 2024 registration

The last date to take up MAT 2024 registration is 5 March 2024 is the candidate wishes to take up the exam in CBT mode.

The same is 21 February, 29 February 2024 and 5 March 2024 for those wishing to take the test in IBT mode. There is more to it than meets the eye.

Test dates

MAT 2024 registration must be done by 20 February 2024 for taking the test in PBT mode. The same must be done by 5 March 2024 to take the exam on 10 March 2024 in CBT mode.

Candidates have to complete MAT 2024 registration by 21 February 2024 for taking the test in IBT mode on 24 February 2024. MAT 2024 registration last date is 29 February 2024 for taking exam in IBT exam on 3 March 2024.

MAT can be taken in IBT mode on 8 March 2024 if MAT 2024 registration is done by 5 March 2024.

Who can take up MAT 2024 registration?

The condition of eligibility to take up MAT 2024 registration is a pass in graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India.

Those who have appeared for their qualifying degree exams and are waiting for results or who are about to appear for their final exams of the qualifying degree can take up MAT 2024 registration.

However, these candidates have to pass the exam and provide a proof for it by the time of commencement of admission in the institutions. Candidates can visit the official website for more information. More details are available in the tabular format below:

  • Candidates opting for additional test will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.

Admit Card contains Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the admit card.

The process to take up MAT 2024 registration is online and candidates can submit applications at the official website that is reachable with the URL ‘https://mat.aima.in/’

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the webpage to download.

2. Once the webpage is ready, candidates can click the information brochure to know about the exam.

3. After knowing about the exam, candidates can click the link for registration. This will likely open another page.

4. After clicking the link, they can register and create an account with username and password.

5. Post account creation, candidates can login and start applying for the exam.

Candidates have to attach these documents while taking up MAT 2023 registration and their details are mentioned below:

MAT 2024 registration

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the website is ready, candidates have to click the link to download the hall ticket.

3. After clicking the link, they can enter their roll number/application number and other required details and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

Point to remember

Candidates who have successfully completed their MAT 2024 registration will alone be able to download the admit card. The link to download hall ticket will be made active at the appropriate time, a few days before the commencement of the exam.

Registration fees

MAT 2024 registration fee is Rs 2100 if the applicant wants to appear in any one of the three modes – IBT, CBT and PBT. Those who wish to appear in more than one mode can pay Rs 3300 while applying for MAT 2023 registration.

Exam pattern

The exam will be conducted in three modes, IBT, CBT and CBT. Questions have to answered on a computer screen in CBT mode, the same has to be done on a separate answer sheet in PBT mode and in IBT mode too questions have to be answered on a computer screen.

Questions to be answered are related to Language Comprehension, Mathematics skills, Data analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence, Critical reasoning, Indian and Global Environment. The total marks are 200 and time to answer questions is 150 minutes or 2 hours 30 minutes.
