MAT 2021 exam: Great registrations open till 21 June
MAT 2021 exam registration has begun on 10 June and management course study aspirants can submit applications till 21 June.
The exam will be held on 26 June in Computer Based Test (CBT) and Paper Based Test (PBT) modes. The same exam in IBT (Internet Based Test) format will be conducted on 19 and 20 June.
About MAT 2021 exam
MAT 2021 exam is expanded into Management Aptitude Test 2021 exam and is conducted by All India Management Association.
The test is held four times in a year and candidates who pass it with a good score get to study MBA course or PGDM programmers offered by reputed b-schools across India.
Over 800 b-schools across India provide admissions based on scores of MAT.

Point to remember
MAT 2021 exam will be conducted as Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT), Internet Based Test (IBT) and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT).
Individuals can choose any one of the above modes to write MAT. They can also write the same test in two different modes.
The modes
Applicants can write MAT 2021 exam in both IBT modes on different dates.
The other option is to write the test in PBT and IBT. Individuals can write MAT 2021 exam in both CBT and IBT formats.
The choice of writing MAT 2021 exam in PBT and CBT formats is also available.
The formats 2
Computer Based Test or CBT is where a candidate sits infront of a computer and answers the questions on a computer monitor with help of a keyboard or a mouse.
PBT or Paper Based Test is where the applicant gets a question paper and an OMR answer sheet.
The applicant has to read the question from the question paper and answer the same by darkening the appropriate circle located next to the question number on the OMR sheet.
IBT or Internet Based Test is where candidate can take the exam on a computer just like that in CBT mode from their homes. However, the applicant will be monitored remotely from the control room.
Registration fee
The registration fee for MAT 2021 exam is Rs 1650 if the individual chooses any one format to write the exam.
The same would be Rs 2750 if the applicant wants to write MAT 2021 exam in more than one format.
Important dates
For PBT
Submission of application began on 10 June for MAT 2021 exam in PBT mode and the last date is 21 June.
The admit card will be made available by 23 June and exam is on 26 June.
Individuals who choose to write MAT 2021 exam in this mode can expect result by July this year.

For IBT
Candidates willing to write MAT 2021 exam in IBT format have to write the test on 19 June or 20 June.
The time slots available on 19 and 20 June are 10 am to 12:30 pm and 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
Candidates have to register on or before 16 June to write the exam on 19 June.
Those who wish to write MAT 2021 exam in IBT mode on 20 June have to register on or before 17 June.
Individuals who will write MAT 2021 exam on 19 June can download their hallticket 17 June.
Candidates appearing for the exam on 20 June can download halltickets on 18 June.
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed their graduation in any discipline can apply for MAT 2021 exam.
Even those who are in the final year of their graduate courses can also apply.

The procedure to apply for MAT 2021 exam is online.
Applicants can visit the official website of the exam at ‘https://mat.aima.in/may21/’
Soon after the webpage downloads, they can click the button ‘Register’ located on the rightside of the webpage and take up registration to obtain username and password.
Applicants can come back to the webpage ‘https://mat.aima.in/may21/’ after registration and click the ‘Login’ button and enter the username and password and get into the interface and begin registering for the exam.
Individuals have to provide the required information, upload needed documents, pay the registration fee and submit the application form.
Exam format
MAT 2021 exam will have 200 questions of objective type that are to be answered in 150 minutes.
The topics from which the questions will be asked are Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency and Indian and Global Environment.
