MAT 2020 registration, great MBA aspirants can apply
MAT 2020 is again the talk of the town as applications are being invited for the exam that will provide admission in reputed business schools of India for studying MBA.
Candidates can take MAT 2020 either in online or offline or both online and offline.
The offline mode of MAT 2020 has pen and paper based test (PBT). Apart from this, applicants can take the MAT 2020 in both PBT and IBT mode also.
The first phase for MAT 2020 in the online mode will happen from 21 to 25 November.
The second phase of MAT 2020 in the online mode will take place from 3 to 6 December.
The fourth phase of online mode test for MAT 2020 will take place from 10 to 13 December, the last phase of MAT 2020 in online mode will take place on 15 December.
MAT 2020 in offline mode will be held on 6 December this year.
MAT also known as Management Aptitude Test is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) and it is a national level test.
MAT is conducted four times in a year, namely, February, May, September and December. Candidates who pass this exam can use the score to obtain seat in top business schools in India to do MBA.
The score of MAT is used by more than 600 business schools who use MAT score. MAT is conducted in more than 50 cities across India.
Applicants for MAT 2020 can also opt for two IBT tests or PBT+IBT by paying an extra fees of rupees Rs 1100 in addition to rupees Rs 1650.
Candidates opting for two IBTs or PBT+IBT will have the benefit of selecting additional two management institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting five Management Institutes, that is, they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.
Applicants of MAT 2020 who chose to write test in pen and paper mode (PBT) have to remember that the test to be held on 6 December is likely to undergo a change keeping in view the present pandemic (COVID-19) situation.
In case if the PBT is postponed due to COVID-19, the registration of the candidates who chose to write in offline mode will be automatically carried forward to forthcoming MAT to be scheduled in February 2021 or later.
Enthusiasts of MAT 2020 have to go to the official website of the exam ‘https://mat.aima.in/dec20/’ and click ‘Register’ button located below the AIMA banner.
‘Register’ Button will be in uppercase and written in white colour in blue background.
Post clicking, applicants must provide their name, date of birth, email, mobile number and other required information and obtain username and password.
Once the username and password are obtained, candidates can begin applying for MAT 2020. They can login with help of username and password and begin applying.
Candidates must also upload their scanned image of their photograph and scanned image of their signature. The photo must be between 10kb to 50kb.
Scanned image of their signature must be between 5kb to 20kb. They must also upload educational qualification details while applying for MAT 2020.
Applicants of MAT 2020 have to pay the registration fee also. Registration charges depend on the mode of test candidate wishes to opt.
Applicants who wish to take Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) have to pay Rs 1650.
The registration fee for candidates willing to take test in PBT mode is Rs 1650. Applicants willing to write in bothe IBT and PBT mode have to pay Rs 2750.
After the final submission is made and the final confirmation of successful submission is obtained, candidates must take a printout and preserve that for future usage.
The last date for applying for MAT 2020 in the PBT mode is 29 November and hall-ticket will be available for download on 1 December this year.
The last date for applying for MAT 2020 online depends on schedule of the exam.
The first phase for MAT 2020 in the online mode will happen from 21 to 25 November and last date for applying in online mode 17 to 21 November.
The second phase of MAT 2020 in the online mode will take place from 3 to 6 December and last date for applying is from 29 November to 2 December.
The fourth phase of online mode test for MAT 2020 will take place from 10 to 13 December, the last date for applying is 6 to 9 December.
The last phase of MAT this year in online mode will take place on 15 December, the last date to apply is 11 December.
As far as online exam of MAT 2020 is concerned, the hallticket download date is also different for each phase of the exam.
The first phase for MAT in the online mode will happen from 21 to 25 November and date for issuing admit card is from 18 to 22 November.
The second phase of MAT this year in the online mode will take place from 3 to 6 December and hall-ticket for this phase will be available for download from 30 November to 3 December.
The last phase of MAT in online mode will take place on 15 December and hallticket for this phase will be available for download on 12 December.
