LPUNEST 2025 application submission is on till 7 May 2025 at ‘https://admission.lpu.in/’ for PhD of August term. Registration started on 6 February 2025.
It is about admission into doctorate course – PhD at Lovely Professional University (LPU).
The name of the exam is Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test aka LPUNEST, it is an institutional level exam conducted by LPU every year.
LPUNEST 2025 is meant to be conducted this year (2025). Exam is conducted in online mode where questions have to be answered on a computer screen at the designated test center.
Test is also conducted in remote proctored online mode, where candidates can write the test on a computer screen from anywhere.
Questions in the exam will depend upon the subject the candidate wants to pursue a doctorate in the institution.
As per LPUNEST 2025 Application submission schedule, the exam for doctorate admission will be conducted on 9 and 11 May 2025.
Result of LPUNEST for PhD will be released on 16 May 2025. Interview slot booking will take place from 16 to 20 May 2025, as per LPUNEST 2025 application submission schedule.
Interviews will be conducted from 24 to 30 May 2025 and last date of admission is 30 June 2025. More details are available in the table mentioned below:

| Pass with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the Master& Degree (2 year or 4 semester Master’s Degree after a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree # ) or equivalent in the relevant subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview. # Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester Master’s Degree* programme with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible. OR A candidate who has completed 4-years/8-semesters Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with 75% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC and have minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in teaching/research/Industry is also eligible. (A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC or ST or OBC (non-creamy layer) or Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the statutory body from time to time.) Note: If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible Note:
