KV admission 2021: Great Class 1 admsn to begin from 1 April

KV admission 2021 is all about submitting application for Class 1 admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas for 2021-22.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) brought out the schedule for KV admission-2021 on 29 March.

This means, parents can start submitting applications for KV admission 2021 from 1 April onwards.

Important dates
The application submission for KV admission 2021 in connection with Class 1 will begin by 10 am of 1 April.

The last date to submit applications is 7pm of 19 April. The first provisional list of merit will be declared on 23 April.

Admission Open in SRM for 2025

The second provisional list of merit will be out on 30 April and the third provisional list will be declared on 5 May this year.

Point to remember
While the first provisional list in connection with KV admission 2021 will be out on the date specified above (23 April).

The rest of the provisional lists will released depending on the availability of seats.

Age eligibility
The applicant (child) applying for KV admission 2021 for a seat in Class 1 must be five years of age at the minimum as on 31 March 2021.

Child born on 1 April can also be considered for KV admission 2021.

The maxium age of the child applying for KV admission 2021 should be seven years.

Point to remember
The prinicipal of Kendriya Vidyalaya can relax the maximum age limit by two years in case of differently abled children.

Applicants and their parents must go to the official website of KV admission 2021 at ‘https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in/index.html’ and click the appropriate link and register themselves and obtain the username and password.

The first name of the child, middle name of the child, last name of the child, date of birth have to be mentioned while registering.

Applicants (parents) have to mention whether their child who is seeking admission is differently abled or not.

Also they have mention if the child is a son or daughter or grandchild of any Kendriya Vidya employee or not?

After all the details are provided, Register button can be clicked.

The applicant’s mobile will receive an OTP. The OTP has to be submitted to obtain unique login code.

Post obtaining the unique login code, individuals have to preserve it.

Using the login code, date of birth of the child and mobile number, applicants can login and start applying for KV admission 2021.

All required details have to provided and documents have to be uploaded while filling the application for KV admission 2021.

Documents
Applicants of KV admission 2021 must upload images of only two documents, birth certificate and photo of the child seeking admission, must be mandatorily uploaded before submitting the online application form.

Only jpeg or pdf files can be uploaded. Each file can be maximum of 256 KB in size.

Point to remember
The documents to be submitted at the time of admission will be different from the documents uploaded while filling the application form of KV admission 2021.

After admission of students under RTE Act followed by Differently Abled, the children belonging to Cat-1 will be taken up.

The students admitted under Cat-1 will also include SC/ST/OBC-NCL.

Similarly, after admission of Cat-1, admission of Cat-2 will be taken up which will include
SC/ST/OBC-NCL (up to Cat-3 in case of Project/IHL School)

The shortfall in the number of candidates on seats reserved for SC, ST and OBCNCL will be worked out after considering the number of SC/ST/OBC-NCL children admitted under RTE quota and Priority Cat-1 and Cat-2.
