KTET 2024 Application Submission is on till 2 May 2024 at ‘https://ktet.kerala.gov.in/’ The last date to apply is extended.

Earlier, last date to submit KTET 2024 Application was 26 April 2024, that has been changed to 2 May 2024.

The facility to make corrections in KTET 2024 Application will be open from 4 to 7 May 2024.

The registration for the exam began on 17 April 2024. Candidates who have submitted KTET 2024 Application can download the admit card from 3 June 2024 onwards.

KTET 2024 ApplicationExam will be conducted from 22 to 23 June 2024. KTET category I,II will be conducted on 22 June 2024. KTET category III and IV will be conducted on 23 June 2024.

What is KTET 2024 exam?

The full name of the exam is Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test, which is also popularly known as KTET or Kerala TET. It is a state-level exam that is said to be conducted twice every year and Kerala TET 2024 is meant to be organized this year (2024).

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan conducts the exam in offline mode and answers have to be registered on a separate answer sheet provided at the test center.

Students who pass the KTET exam can apply for jobs as teachers in lower primary classes (Category 1), upper primary classes (Category 2), high school classes (Category 3) and also as language teachers, specialist teachers and physical education teachers (Category 4).

Category 1

Students who wish to become teachers for upper primary classes must have passed a degree in any discipline along with a 2-year diploma in elementary education to take up KTET 2024 application.

Category 3

Students who wish to choose this category while taking up KTET 2024 application submission must have passed a degree in any discipline with 45% pass marks at the minimum along with a BEd degree in the related subject.

Category 4

Those who have the required qualifications to apply for the post of language teacher (Hindi, Arabic, Hindi), specialist teachers, and physical education teachers as mentioned in Chapter 31 of Kerala Education Act and Rules can apply.

How to submit KTET 2024 Application?

The process to undertake KTET 2024 application submission is online. Candidates have to visit the official website at ‘https://ktet.kerala.gov.in/’ to submit KTET 2024 application. The process is mentioned below:

1. The URL mentioned earlier has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the webpage to be allowed to download.

2. Once the webpage is downloaded, candidates have to click REGISTER HERE button.

3. Clicking the above button would open another webpage with URL ‘https://ktet.kerala.gov.in/exam_registrations_informations.php’

4. After the webpage opens with the above URL, candidates have accept the conditions and check the required boxes and press Click here to New Registration to create an account.

5. After creating an account, candidates can login and then starting filling KTET 2024 Application.

1. The URL has to be typed into the browser and the website should be allowed to download.

2. Once the webpage is available, candidates can click the link for the hall ticket.

3. After clicking the link, they must enter their username and password, and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

The admit card can be downloaded and then a printout of it has to be taken. Applicants have to appear for the exam at the designated test center with the hall ticket.

After the exam

Students have to view the results for the exam, they can visit the official website of the exam at the appropriate time and log in using the credentials they created while taking up KTET 2024 application submission.
