KMAT 2023: It is for a great MBA
KMAT 2023 hall tickets are now available for download on the official website. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download them. KMAT 2023 is an exam for students who wish to study management courses in educational institutions located across Kerala.
Commissioner of Entrance Examinations of the Government of Kerala conducts KMAT every year whose full name is Kerala Management Aptitude Test. It is conducted once every year and KMAT 2023 is meant to be held this year.
KMAT 2023 and registration
KMAT 2023 is a state-level entrance test that is conducted in online mode (computer-based test) where the answers to the questions have to be marked on a computer. The duration of the test is three hours.
The format of the questions is objective type and the subjects from which the questions would be asked are English Language usage and reading comprehension, General Awareness and Current Affairs, Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning, and, Quantitative Ability.
The registration for KMAT 2023 took place from 9 to 18 January 2023. The admit card was made available for download on February 3, 2023. KMAT 2023 will be conducted on February 19, 2023.
Who can apply
Students who have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized educational institution can apply for KMAT 2023.
Candidates who are appearing for the final year of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply, provided their results are declared before the commencement of the admission process for the KMAT Kerala.
Indians and Non-Indians are eligible to apply. But, only Keralite candidates are eligible for all types of reservations and fee concessions. There are no age restrictions.
How to apply
The process to apply for KMAT 2023 is online and the official website of the test is to be visited to submit applications. The URL to access the website is ‘cee.kerala.gov.in’
The URL has to be typed into the browser and the website should be allowed to download. Once the website is downloaded, the link for registration has to be clicked to create an account comprising a username and password.
Once the account is created, candidates can log in to fill out the form and pay the registration fee and submit it. Post submission, candidates have to wait for the successful submission and once the message is obtained, it has to be downloaded and a printout of it has to be taken and preserved for future use.
After the submission
Candidates have to download the hall ticket for KMAT 2023 at the appropriate time from the exam website and appear for the test on the date mentioned by the authorities concerned.
The hall tickets were released on 3 February 2023 and the official website to download them is ‘https://cee.kerala.gov.in/kmat2023/’ Candidates have to type their application number, password and access code to obtain the hall ticket.
The test has to be passed with minimum qualifying marks which are also known as the cutoff score. Cutoff marks are the marks candidates have to get to become eligible for the next phase of the admission process or final selection.
The General category candidates who secure 10% of the total 720 marks (72 marks) and above are qualified for admission to MBA courses in various educational institutions in Kerala. For SC/ST/PD category the qualifying cut-off mark is 7.5%.
Phase after test
Candidates who passed KMAT 2023 have to take part in the group discussion and personal interviews. The selection will be based on the performance in the entrance test, group discussion, and personal interview.
