KCET 2024 registration link will be available again at  ‘https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/’ from 18 January 2024 onwards.

The last date to take up KCET 2024 registration is 10 February 2024. Though the application process began on 10 January 2024 and was open till 12 January 2024, it was halted on 13 January 2024 to facilitate the work of migration of SATS database to the newly allotted enhanced database.

KCET 2024 registration

This is an exam for those who wish to apply for undergraduate BTech, Agriculture, and BPharmacy courses in colleges located across Karnataka. KCET is also known as Karnataka Common Entrance Test.

The other name for KCET is UGCET (Undergraduate Common Entrance Test). It is a state-level exam that is conducted once every year.

KCET 2024 registration began on 10 January 2024 and last date to submit application is 10 February 2024.

The link to submit application can be resumed from 18 January 2024 onwards till 10 February 2024. Application fees can be paid till 14 February 2024.

Exam will be conducted on 18 and 19 April 2024 onwards. The KCET 2024 results will be declared on 20 May 2024. Medical examination for Physically Disabled candidates will take place on 25 and 26 April 2024 onwards.

Who can take up KCET 2024 registration?

Candidates who have passed plus two in any stream from a recognized educational institution can take up KCET 2024 registration.

The subjects should be maths, physics and chemistry if opting for engineering. The same are biology, physics and chemistry if choosing courses from pharmacy or agriculture.

Point to remember

Those applying for BArch or Medicine, Dental or AYUSH courses have to pass NATA or NEET UG 2023. The scores in these exams have to be provided while taking up KCET 2024 registration.

How to take up KCET 2024 registration?

The process to take up KCET 2024 registration is online and the applications can be submitted at the official website ‘https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/’

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the webpage is ready, candidates have to click UGCET 2024 option under ADMISSIONS menu.

3. Choosing the above option will open another webpage with URL ‘https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ugcet2024’

4. Once the above webpage opens, candidates can click the button CET – 2024 ONLINE APPLICATION CUM VERIFICATION MODULE LINK-10.01.2024

5. Clicking the above link will open another website ‘https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/UGONLINEAPPLICATION_2024/FORMS/APPCHECKLIST.ASPX’

6. Once this opens, candidates can scroll down the webpage and click Proceed To Registration For New User

7. After clicking that candidates can register and create an account. Once the account is ready, candidates can login and then apply for the exam.

Hall ticket for the exam can be obtained from the official website which is accessible at ‘https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/’

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow it to download.

2. Once it is ready, candidates can click the link for admit card.

3. After the link is clicked, they can enter details like application number, date of birth and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

The exam

They must appear for the exam at the test centre chosen by them. Questions related to maths/biology, physics and chemistry have to be answered.

Students who pass KCET 2024 with the required qualifying marks can apply for admission.

Process may comprise counselling, which may be conducted in more than one rounds.

Students who do not get a seat of their choice in the initial rounds can apply for the same in subsequent rounds.

Candidates who are selected have to show their documents for verification.
