JKCET 2023 registration: Starts from great 4 April 2023
JKCET 2023 registration will start on 4 April 2023. The last date to submit applications for the test is 24 April 2023.
Notification for the exam was issued on 2 April 2023 by the J & K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE or JKBPEE).
Students who wish to join bachelor of engineering in colleges in Jammu and Kashmir have to take up JKCET 2023 registration.
It is nothing but applying for the exam. The score in the exam will be considered while providing admission into graduate engineering courses.
JKCET 2023 registration fee is Rs 1000 which can be paid through credit card, debit card or net banking.
The tentative date for conducting the exam is 28 May 2023 and the date for downloading the hall ticket will be informed in due course.
What is JKCET 2023 registration?
The full name is Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test.
It is a state-level entrance test that is conducted once a year. JKCET 2023 is meant to be conducted this year (2023).
JKCET 2023 will be conducted offline where answers have to be marked on a separate answer sheet provided at the designated test center.
The exam has questions related to mathematics, physics and chemistry that are taught in class 12 in recognized educational institutions.
Who can take up JKCET 2023 registration?
The eligibility to take up JKCET 2023 registration is a pass in plus-two in the science stream.
Subjects in plus-two must be maths, physics and chemistry. Applicants must have at least 45% and 40% (for SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP) in the plus-two exam.
Students willing to take up JKCET 2023 registration must also be natives of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, and, the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Once the webpage is available, applicants for JKCET 2023 have to click the required link and fill the application form.
Post filling out JKCET 2023 application, candidates have to pay the registration fees.
The required documents have to be uploaded and submitted.
After submission, candidates can take a print of the JKCET 2023 application.

After application submission
Students who have successfully completed JKCET 2023 registration will have to download hall tickets.
The date for download will be informed later.
JKCET 2023 for engineering will be conducted on 28 May 2023, it is a tentative date as of now, it can also undergo a change at a later stage.
The test has to be passed with the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next process which involves counselling and document verification.
Students who pass JKCET 2023 with the required qualifying marks can apply for counselling.
Those who get a seat in the course of their choice can pay the fees and join the classes.
Date and time for counselling will be announced at the appropriate time, most probably, the dates would be announced a few after the release of results for JKCET 2023.
Students who have passed the exam with required qualifying marks can apply for the counselling which will likely be conducted in more than one round.
Individuals who do not get a seat in the first round can try in the subsequent rounds, those who have got a seat can convey their acceptance and pay the fees and join the college for classes.
