JIPMER Exam 2020: Appln regn postponed
JIPMER Exam 2020, the registration date for entrance exams to provide seats into B.Sc, M.Sc, M.P.H, P.G.F, P.B.D and PhD courses has been postponed. Sources from the establishment say that the decision to postpone the commencement of registration for JIPMER Exam 2020 was due to outbreak of corona pandemic.
While the application registration for JIPMER Exam 2020 has been postponed the date of exam is said to be on 21 June tentatively.
Candidates aspiring to study courses like B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Allied Medical Sciences, M.Sc Nursing and M.Sc (Allied Medical Sciences) can apply for JIPMER Exam 2020.

MSc Allied Medical Sciences
M.Sc Allied Medical Science course comprises specialisation in Medical Biochemistry, Medical Physiology, MLT – Microbiology, MLT – Cyto pathology and Medical Physics.

M.Sc Nursing

Candidates have to provide their name, contact details, photo, image of their signature, qualification mark sheets and certificates as a part of filling the application form for JIPMER Exam 2020.
Post registration, candidates can pay the application fee and take a print out of the application form and preserve it for future use.

The application fee for applying for MSc courses in JIPMER Exam 2020 is Rs 700 for general and OBC category candidates and Rs 500 for SC, ST candidates. The fee for BSc courses is Rs 1500 for General and OBC category applicants and is Rs 1200 for SC, ST category candidates.

Eligibility required
The required eligibility for applying for B.Sc courses in JIPMER Exam 2020 is a pass in plus-two have minimum 50% marks.
For the reserved category candidates, minimum 40% marks are required and for OPH category 45% marks are required. The subjects in plus-two are physics, chemistry, biology and english.
For MSc courses applicants must be a graduate degree holder in Nursing from any recognised educational institution. They must pass the B.Sc/PB.BSc/PC B.Sc Nursing degree from a recognized institute or university.
Candidates for MSc Nursing applicants must have one year of work experience either prior to BSc Nursing study or post study period.
For other MSc courses candidates with any degree in science can apply, they should be preferably having degree in sciences that are close to medical sciences or health sciences.
Exam pattern
The pattern for JIPMER Exam 2020 is multiple choice questions. There will be 100 questions and duration of the exam is 90 minutes. Correct answer will get one mark and wrong answer or questions left without answer will have zero marks.
Syllabus
The syllabus of JIPMER Exam 2020 is lessons of physics, chemistry, biology and english of 11th and 12th standards if the applicant is targeting BSc courses.
For applicants targeting MSc courses through JIPMER Exam 2020 has to study lessons taught in Nursing at graduate level or the lessons of their respective qualification at graduation level.
