JEMAT 2020 registration, Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test 2020 is a state level eligibility test conducted by the MAKAUTWB for the Government of West Bengal.
JEMAT 2020 registration is held once every year for admission into the MBA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes provided by the management institutions of the State which comprise both government and private.
The JEMAT 2020 registration is conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in West Bengal. The same is formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology. The conducting of the test is done as per the guidelines issued by AICTE.

How to register
The JEMAT 2020 registration can be done by visiting the official website of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The official website link for JEMAT 2020 registration is ‘https://cetmat.examflix.in/’
Candidates can click the above mentioned link and after the page downloads, applicants must click on ‘Apply Online’ button first to Register.
Applicants will receive their registration number via SMS/E-Mail. Candidates must check their email for the registration number. Then, candidates must click on applicant login button to complete their form submission.
Candidates who have successfully taken up their JEMAT 2020 registration can take a print out of the final application and then preserve it for future use.
Payment of fees
Fee payment for JEMAT 2020 registration is Rs 600 for General/OBC category candidates and Rs 350 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates.
In case the online fees payment for JEMAT 2020 registration is not reconciled automatically even though amount gets deducted from bank, candidates must not make double payment instantly.
Please wait for 48-72 hrs for reconciliation. Sometimes it gets delayed owing to some issue related to the bank’s server.
The exam pattern
Post JEMAT 2020 registration, focus must be on the preparation for the examination. The exam duration is two hours and questions to be answered are 100 and they are in the multiple choice format.
Every question has more than one reply in multiple choice format, and candidates must chose the right answer. The questions asked in JEMAT 2020 exam are related to General English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning.
While General English has 40 questions with 40 marks, Mathematics has 40 questions same marks and Logical Reasoning has 20 questions with 20 marks. The total marks are 100.
Points to remember
Candidates undertaking JEMAT 2020 registration must know that the registration is successful once the final page downloads with Application Number. The same is sent to the mobile number or email of the applicant.
Candidates unable to upload photos during JEMAT 2020 registration must check the size of photograph to ensure it is of the right size. The right size of the photograph is 20 to 50 KB.
Similarly they must also check the image size of their signature which muste be of 20 to 50 KB and format of files for photo of the candidate and image of their signature must be JPG or JPEG, png. The photograph and signature are to be uploaded at the time of applying only.
About MAKAUT
The Government of West Bengal set up an expert committee on December 31, 1998, under the Chairmanship of Ashesh Prasad Mitra, Eminent Scientist to explore the necessity and scope for establishment of an Engineering / Technology University in the state of West Bengal.
The University came into operation formally with the assumption of the office of the first Vice Chancellor on January 15, 2001 as a sequel to the promulgation of THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ACT, 2001, under West Bengal Act XV of 2000 passed by the West Bengal Legislature.
The University started its academic programme, from July 16, 2001 following a Notification from the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal dated June 15, 2001 through the affiliation of Engineering and Management Institutions / Colleges and has entered the eighth year of its functioning. The University is included in Section 2F and also in Section 12B of UGC and recipient of UGC Grant.
