JEE Mains 2023: Time to focus on the exam

Who can apply?
Students who have passed class 12 exams with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects can apply for JEE Mains 2023. Students focused on biology or biotechnology oriented engineering courses have to pass 12th class tests with biology, physics and chemistry as subjects.

Post form submission

The exam will be conducted in online mode as a computer based test and the questions related to maths, physics and chemistry have to be answered. Students aiming for architecture/planning courses may also have to answer questions related to creativity, innovation which may require them draw and paint on given themes.
JEE Mains has to be passed with required qualifying marks which is also known as cutoff score. Marks of the students in JEE Mains 2023 have to either be greater than cutoff marks or equal to it. Cutoff marks will be announced either along with the release of JEE Mains 2023 result or shortly after the release of the exam results.
Post passing the test
Students who have passed JEE Mains can apply for studying BE/BTech, BArch, BPlan in NITs, IIITs located across India. Students who have got a score that puts them among the top 2.5 lakh ranks on all India scale can apply for JEE Advanced to get admission in IITs located across India.
