JEE Mains 2020: Great admit cards could be out in few days
JEE Mains 2020, admit card release date for the well-known exam is likely to be announced in a few days from now.
JEE Mains 2020 will be conducted from 1 to 6 September and the usual practice is to make the admit card available for download about 15 days before the exam.
Sources say, announcement related to admit cards of JEE Mains 2020 is likely to be made by 17 August.
Candidataes for JEE Mains 2020 can as usual visit the official website of NTA for JEE Mains and download the admit card in a couple of days from now.
As of now, there is no official announcement from NTA with regards to admit cards for JEE Mains 2020.
But by about 17 August, candidates can expect some development in this regard on official website ‘www.nta.ac.in’ and ‘jeemain.nta.ac.in’
Candidates are likely to receive information about admit card availablity for download on their email or mobile number too.
Applicants of JEE Mains 2020 must keep track of their emails or mobile numbers which have been provided while filling the application for the exam.

Post clicking the required link for admit card, a seperate screen would be visible where the students can enter their registration number and password and click submit button.
Once the admit card becomes visible, students can take a printout and keep it for the exam day. Applicants must produce the admit card while entering into the exam centre.
Failure to produce the admit card may result in rejection of entry into the exam hall.
In case of any discrepancy about the details they can call the authorities at NTA and alert them about it on time.
Alerting the authorities at the earliest will give ample scope for correction. JEE Mains 2020 was conducted in January this year as per the usual schedule.
However, JEE Mains 2020 (April) could not be conducted on the actual decided schedule owing to outbreak of corona virus.
The outbreak led to postponement of 10th and 12th class exams of CBSE, lateron, even stateboard exams for the same classes also were postponed.
Exams for students of higher education also had to be brought to a halt.
Lockdown imposed subsequently to regulate the spread of corona virus left no room for conducting any exams including the competitive exams for government recruitment.
And, JEE Mains 2020 was not an exception in this regard.
While dates were announced lateron for conducting JEE Mains 2020 (April) but they could not take place as lockdown went on receiving an extension.
Even before JEE Mains could be conducted, its qualifying exam that is 12th board exams had to be conducted.
Now issues related to the qualifying exam almost sorted out, focus has now shifted towards conducing JEE Mains 2020.
A pass in this exam will allow its applicants gain a seat in the prestigious IIITs and NITs to study graduation in science or engineering.
Students in large numbers target JEE Mains every year, as it happens to be a gateway for greener pastures in life.
The same has stood true with regards to JEE Mains 2020 (April) with over 9.34 lakh students applying for it.
The top 2.5 lakh rank winners will be qualifying to write JEE Advanced 2020 which will be conducted soon after results for JEE Mains 2020 are declared.

JEE Mains has Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. Paper 1 is for students willing to gain admission into engineering graduation.

Paper 1 has total of 75 questions for 300 marks. Questions related to maths, physics and chemistry will be asked in this paper in multiple choice question format and numerical value format.
While a correct answer for every question in multiple choice format will get four marks, wrong answer will lead to deduction of one mark in paper 1. There is no negative marking for numerical value based questions.
Paper 2 of JEE Mains 2020 will have 77 questions related to mathematics, aptitude test and drawing test for 400 marks in multiple choice format and numerical format.
Paper 3 in JEE Mains 2020 will have 100 questions for total of 400 marks. The questions will be from Maths, Aptitude Test and Planning based objective type questions in multiple choice format and numerical value format.
Paper 3 also has negative marking with regards to multiple choice questions, every right answer will get four marks, wrong answer will lead to deduction of one mark.
There is no negative marking with regards to wrong answer in numerical value based questions. Well planned preparation will bring success to students in JEE Mains 2020 exam.
