IITs in India have now become the spot of attraction and IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi in particular have received good deal of attention.

IIT Kanpur also considered a jewel among IITs in India too is said to have been sailing in the same boat.
This year, IIT Kanpur also did not become a choice for any top 100 rankers. The past was all glory for these two jewels among the IITs in India.
But the present seems to be holding a different story for IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur.
This appears to be evident as sources point that even students who secured within top 500 or top 1000 rank too went ahead choosing IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and IIT Madras.
However, IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur have sizeable representation in the group. Others among IITs in India like IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati and IIT Hyderabad also have become chosen spots for top 1000 rank holders in JEE Advanced.
Meanwhile sources tracking the developments in technical education sector said the reason behind the growth in popularity for IIT Bombay is the availability of high quality education there.
Students may debate among themselves as to who among the IITs in India is the top, however one must remember that the contribution these reputed institutions have made to the country is worth a praise.

It is worth recollecting that Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 which is set up Ministry of Education of Government of India threw open the registration for students who passed JEE Advanced 2020.
The registration for getting seats in IITs in India began on October 6. Candidates who aimed of architecture could fill their AAT related choice from October 11.
The results for first seat allocation was released on 17 October.
Candidates who wish to check the first seat allotment result can visit the official website of JoSAA on ‘josaa.nic.in’
The next seat allocation result is to be displayed on 21 October.
Candidates can view the seat allocation result of round 2 by going to official website ‘https://josaa.nic.in/WebInfo/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P’
Once the page downloads, they can scroll down the page and see a button titled ‘View Seat Allotment Result-Round 2’
Students have to click that button and when a seperate page downloads they have to enter their JEE Main application number, password and security pin and press ‘login’ button to view the result.
The online reporting by students for fee payment, document upload, response to any query by student can be done on 22 and 23 October.
The last date to respond to any kind of query for round 2 of seat allotment is October 24.
The round 3 of seat allocation will be on October 26.
