IIM Lucknow’s Doctoral Programme offers a distinctive academic experience, where scholars are mentored by world-class faculty, contributing to research that is both academically rigorous and practically relevant.

Eligibility

To apply for the PhD program, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Ø A Master’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks

Or

Ø A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or a four-year graduate degree) with at least 65% marks

Or

Ø Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, or CS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and a B.Com. undergraduate degree

Or

Ø A two/three-year full-time classroom-based PGDM from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6/10 or 60%

Applicants must also have a valid score in one of the exams including, CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR), with scores from the last two years being accepted as valid.

Shortlisting

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on their exam scores and invited for a selection interview.

The workshop features 25 participants from Bithoor, Baikunthpur, Mandhana, and Pachaurh of Kanpur Nagar, as well as Sarvankhera and Pukhrayan of Kanpur Dehat.

Mrs. Rita Singh, coordinator of activities at RSK said the center is connected to over 100 potters in Kanpur with the goal of placing the city on the pottery map of the state.

This workshop aims to introduce new design thinking and improved processes that will help the potters create products that are more attractive to consumers, he said.

During the inauguration, Prof. Sandeep Sangal, Principal Investigator of RSK at IIT Kanpur encouraged the potters to make the most of this learning opportunity and integrate modern techniques into their traditional practices.

Prof Shailly, a ceramic expert at IIT Kanpur, provided insights into the workshop’s curriculum.
